Dx. Good gosh, Joolz. We definitely have opposite tastes in music. I didn't think I could possibly suffer another second of that song. Battery - Metalica This is one freaking awesome song and the theme to one of my Sonic Fan characters. \m/ |

It would certainly appear so. How can you not like some good ol' Dino? I'm really not a Metallica fan. Battery is one of their more bearable songs though. I like the energy, just not the song. Flagpole Sitta - Harvey Danger |

Hahaha, man! A bit of this song plays in the title sequence of a show I watch called Peep Show (which is, by the way, brilliant). I love the "I'm not sick but I'm not well, and I'm so hot 'cause I'm in hell" line. I like the guy's voice, which is unusual because I tend not to enjoy vocals. Here's my choice: So Flute by St Germain. It's over 8 minutes long but... meh.

*sings* LOOOOOOVED IIIIITTT. For some reason it reminded me of this level I played in Little Big Planet. I can imagine this playing in the background of an upscale coffee shop or bar. The innovative beats and uses of the flute is what makes it so awesome. Great choice, Katz. Circle - Edie Brickell. To follow Katz's lengthy selection, here is a shorter song that came out in 1991, I believe. I heard it on Cold Case, and loved it instantly. Her voice is not exactly aggressive, but not subdued either. I guess penetrating would be the term. It kind of makes me sad to listen to it, as the episode I heard it in was following the death of a middle school girl, but it was only a TV show. I think the somberness adds to the effect of the song. Edited by BonslyGuy, Oct 19 2011, 05:29 PM.

Sneaky little Bonsly. I actually like Nyan Cat though so I listened through the whole way. Repetitive, catchy, gets on people's nerves. What more can I say? Mysterons - Portishead |

Haha, I can definitely see your connection to Nyan Cat. I listened to the whole thing as well, wasn't it wonderful? I like it as well. Friday by Rebecca Black as well. Anyway, on to Portishead. Not bad at all. The opening and the background image of that particular video gave me the implication that the song would be very haunting. Which it was. I could see all of these creepy ghosts and haunted houses in my head the whole time. I do like her voice, but I'm not sure I would every buy that song. Poison - Bell Biv Devoe. A group on The Sing Off did their own arrangement of this song, prompting me to look up the original, and I really like it. I usually don't enjoy this kind of music, so it's always nice to find one I do like. I must say, I really do like the Sing Off group's version, not necessary better than this, but in a different way. |

I didn't like it. Too "rappy" sounding for me. Some of the less rappy parts weren't so bad. Those didn't stand out enough to make up for the rest though. Maybe I'd like the Sing Off's group's version is better, but I don't think there's enough promise there for me to go out of my way. I am the Best - 2NE1 |

Gosh, I'm afraid I have to admit I'm really not a fan. I seem to have an almost 100% Biggie diet when it comes to rap, unfortunately.Okay, so check out this track. I listened to it over the weekend whilst doing hallucinogenic drugs (as on does). Bear that in mind when considering my appreciation of the track.

I quite liked it. Ambient music like that has the appeal of being easy to listen to while doing other things (in this case, browsing the Internet). This one has a nice groove (for lack of a better word) to it. I'm in a rocking chair and quite literally found myself rocking to the music. Waltz of the Forest - Psyguy et al. |

I didn't really like that. I wasn't, nor am I ever, usually, of people singing almost as if they are talking. The part at the beginning where it seemed like he was forcing out his words didn't appeal to me, and the singing I didn't like either. Sorry. ![]() Pinball Wizard - The Who, Pinball Wizard - The Dartmouth Aires SING OFF VERSION. This is another song I heard about on The Sing Off, and sure enough, I liked the original as well. I probably liked the Sing Off performance a little better, but whoever posts next can decide, here are both performances. |

That was pretty good. I usually don't care too much for that style, but I liked that alot. James Bond 007 Goldeneye 8-Bit - RetroBleck Don't you just love 8-bit remakes of songs? I do. Here's an awesome one by RetroBleck for the theme song of Goldeneye. One of the best 8-bits I've heard. But keep listening, it get's better. The second half is 3 times better than the first half. 8D It's like he did two versions and meshed them together. |

The original is a great song. This is kind of boring though. Novel for the first few seconds, but then I was ready for it to be over. It did change things up about halfway through though, so that was good. Overall, I can't say that I'm a fan. Ordinary World - Duran Duran Edited by Picklegod, Nov 18 2011, 09:31 PM.

That was pretty good. I can't remember what band sings it, but there is a newer version of that song I hear play on The Edge all the time. 4 Leaf Clover - Stryper Awesome song from an old 80's Christian band that has made a come back. This is a new song that came out a couple years ago. Stryper did however make yet another new album this year. The band is back! |
