Restoring original G/S pokémon sprites

Koopa Posts: 94 Group: Koopa Member #12,571 Joined: February 18, 2010	Restoring Pokémon Gold and Silver version sprites okay.. this is a little thing I've been doing... I did it while I was bored... as you do xD basically, I used a G/S base sprite, and recolor it using a D/P sprite. I also had to do a little editing on some. I started with this Gold sprite of Arcanine (left) and created this (middle) using colors from D/P sprite (right): My second one, I decided to try the Silver Delibird sprite. Old (left) New (middle) D/P sprite (right): My third one took a little more work. I used the Silver Xatu sprite. Old (left) New (middle) D/P sprite (right): as you can see, I edited the chest to match the D/P sprite better. The fourth one, my most recent to date of posting this, is the Silver Chikorita sprite. Here's my attempt Old (left) New (middle) D/P sprite (right) I may edit some more in here in the future. crazy sexy, and sexy crazy Posts: 5,371 Group: Articuno Member #4,536 Joined: September 9, 2007 Coins 15	Looks more like some Recoloring rather than a full restore (I know it as a Revamp). It is good, but they still look some what old to me. The most important tip I could give is to try adding some more color to them, even in the outlines. Edited by Unsound M, Feb 19 2010, 02:57 PM.
