Why not? Because it's Nintendo we're talking about here. They will never just remake a classic game for the sake of remaking it, especially a Zelda game. Sure, it would be awesome, but Nintendo sees no point in doing so. I'd also rather have Nintendo make an entirely new Zelda game (which is what they're doing anyway). |

I can't link in my current state, so go look up 'The Message of Majora's Mask by Hylian Dan on Zelda Universe.' You will never be the same :O For that matter, anyone here who has played MM and not read that, GO READ IT NOW. It will give you such appreciation for the incredible depth of MM. If Hylian Dan is right, and I have no reason to doubt him, then Majora's Mask stands as a landmark acheivement for video game literature. It's a true work of art. And I promise you, spartanmastah, MM is chock full of backstory (every Zelda game is, they purposely make it very subtle, though). Edited by Togeshroob, Feb 18 2010, 06:28 PM.

Did you even read my post D: Either way, MM was mostly sidequests anyway, with the Bomber Notebook and so many things to do. That's part of what makes MM so great, the sidequests are more than just extra things to do, they're as big a part of the game as the primary goal. But I suppose if you mean more characters and a larger Bomber Notebook to go with it, I could go with that. I don't think there needs to be more dungeons (main dungeons, I mean). MM's story works very well with the four dungeons it has, and I don't think anymore would improve it at all. However, I could go for some more side dungeons, even though MM already had 4 (2 Skulltula Houses, Pirate's Fortress, Ikana Castle). As for graphics, it would be great so see some of it with today's graphics (Stone Tower would be amazing), but I personally love it how it is, and it would feel different somehow, I'd think. Someone (don't remember if it was Miyamoto, Aonuma, or whoever) mentioned this in an interview, how people who enjoyed the game in its current form would not have the same experience or something. I'd give you a link to it, but like I said, I can't. |

Majora's Mask would make a good remake, but I know they would not even bother. Being my favorite Zelda game I know Nintendo would rather remake Zelda ALttP or OoT. |

The effort would be better spent on a new game. |

It's a novel idea, but, as others have said, I'd rather have a new, better Zelda game than a remake at this point in time. |

As they said, we would like a newer better Zelda game after the Zelda Wii. Going back and making remakes of older games doesn't really make the popularity grow all too much. |

They Don't Make New Zelda Games Directly After they release a New One. |

They're constantly working on Zelda games. Once a new one is released, you can bet the team is already working on another one. |
