mightyena, like their resemblant animals, wolves, are greatly misuderstood. You have a dog and don't like wolves? their descendants from wolves.

    Generation 1:

Wartortle; Badass, sleek, and not over the top like Blastoise.

Sandshrew: The embodiment of the ground type pokemon.

Golduck: It can controls waves with it's mind. What more could you ask for?

Jolteon: Interesting look, and i like that it can do some bug type moves.

Ninetails: A very elegant fire pokemon, and one i associate with one of my favorite fire moves. Which is the move fire spin.

    Generation 2: *Insert tumbleweed*

    Generation 3:

Treecko, and it's evolved forms: Cool looking plant pokemon that have a look that seem more well suited to utilizing their plant based abilities better than most others.

Slakoth, and it's evolved forms: I got nothing.....

Whismur & evolutions: I like the concept of utilizing sound as an attack.

Aron & evolutions: Aron is interesting, and it's evolved forms are simply bad ass.

Gulpin: A neat little poison pokemon that gets some good moves fairly early.

Salamence: A dragon pokemon with a very nice dragony look *thumbs up*

    Generation 4:
Turtwig, and evolved forms: I like the growth theme

Bastiodon: Tackle = being hit by a truck

Leafeon: The nicest looking evee evolution

Drifloon: That it has seemingly limited controls of it's own mobility pleases me somehow.

Pikachu and Evolutions - Raichu owns. and Pikachu is also adorable! :3

Growlithe-I'd like him even more if I knew how to pronounce his name!! >: (

    Dragonite-Needs no explanation.

    Volteon-An interesting eeveelution.

    Generation II

Totodile-My first gen II starter, trust me, learning rage is useful against Chikorita.

    Houndour-Doggie :3

    Quilava-Just too cool.

    Generation III

    Salamence-Dragony :P

Rayquaza-Got me past the Elite Four just this morning.

    First gen
Vaporeon - My ultimate favorite! All the other changes bu no matter what game it is, no matter what generation, I MUST have a Vaporeon on my team
Rapidash - I don't know why, I just like Rapidash and I think it's my favorite fire Pokemon
Venusaur - I liked the Bulbasaur evolution from the beginning but I like Venusaur the best, tho I never use him anymore...
    Missingno - Just pure awesomeness!!!
Pikachu - I'm not that found of it since it's so stereotype Pokemon, but it's cute. C'mon, who wouldn't liked to have a Pikachu??
Arcanina - My second fav fire Pokemon, tho I think it's harder to get than a Rapidash so I don't use it as often...

    Second gen
Feraligatr - I see myself as a water person so I tend to start off with water starters, and Silver was the first Pokemon game I really playd trough and I had this Feraligatr that I called Sonic, not after the hedgehog, nut sure why i called it that... And if I had multiple and girls, they vere Sonny! Remembering that I had a whole team with Feraligatrs in lvl 80-100 :P
Skarmory - It just looks kinda evil and awesome at the same time! C'mon! A flying bird made out of metal!
Entei - Was the first legendary Pokemon I cought and it was awesome! Tho I always wanted a Suicune...

    Third gen
Mudkip - Dude! It's the same as Pikachu! So I herd u liek Mudkips!
Blaziken - Awesome firebird but I more use it as a fighting Pokemon...
Sableye - My first ghost/dark Pokemon that I really trained... It sucked but god it was awesome! I hope for a evolution in the 5th generation.
Manectric - It's awesome and it's strong! This was my ultimate electric Pokemon untill 4th generation came along
Rayquaza - Pure awesomeness! Got found memories of playing one of the Game Cube games with this guy and just level and level and level. He was unbeatable!

    Fourth gen
Luxray - My second favorite after Vaporeon! It is everything and perfect as a electric Pokemon!
Lopunny - Only if it's a shiny male! God that's so rad and so gay!
    Dialga - Just love it!
Arceus - Pure awesomeness! It is...wait for it...LEGENDARY!!!!

    Always tl;dr

With gereation five here, I thought I would bring this back!

Edit your old post, post a new post, I don't care! Just tell me your new faves and let us know if you updated!

I updated my first post, but I'll post here too.

    Generation five:
Snivy/Servine/Serperior - Chose this as my starter. This is my first non-water starter so it's honestly been a little tough getting used to the grass fighting style. Much to my awful training skills, it still carries my party through battles.
Dewott - The cutest of all of the starter evolutions.
Purrlion/Liepard - Cute for sure. However, I've had it in my party and it's not helping out much. Still deciding if it will be in my final match up.
Panpour/Simipour - I don't like monkeys much, but they're kind of cute. Plus I used him a lot in the beginning.
Scraggy/Scrafty! - Easily my favorite of the game. I fell in love when scraggy pulled his pants up and let them fall the first time. Now, he's leveled up quick and been a great asset to my team. Not only that, but I named mine Botcha. In Hawaiian, "botcha" means washing machine because of the sound it makes. I think this fits because of his little pants. Also he looks like a Botcha.

Will put in more as the game progresses.

Oh man, i could go on for a while about the first 2 generations...

    Gen 1:
Bulbasaur - He was always the tough guy in Ash's team and has saved them many times.
Charmander/Charizard - Charmander was so cute and the way he comes into the show was so sad but made me so happy when he was okay and came with ash in the end. Charmeleon was only in for a short time, but he was the one who started the "disobeying". Charizard was an awesome Pokemon, he was always so mean to Ash but Ash never gave up. One of the saddest episodes was when Charizard got frozen and Ash kept him warm all night, that was also the episode when Charizard started respecting Ash. He had some awesome battles, vs. Blaine's Magmar or Lances Dragonite or Harrisons blaziken. In the end he didn't just go back to Prof. Oak, he went to train with Liza to become strong like the other Charizards.
Squirtle - Another great Pokemon of Ash's, he game in great and he left great, i loved his little fueds with Bulbasaur.
Butterfree - A loved Pokemon by Ash, he traded him, then got him back and instead of keeping him to battle, he let him go and live a peaceful life. I wish Butterfree would of had another appearance, 600 episodes gone, i don't think we will. It's a shame, the episode where Butterfree left was so sad.
Pigdy/Pidgeotto/Pidgeot - Not a very popular Pokemon, but he was used through the first season a few times, too bad Ash didn't didn't fulfill his promise and see him again after the Orange Islands.
    Pikachu - It's Pikachu :P
Diglett/Dugtrio - I just have a soft spot for them, the episode where the Diglett and Dugtrio were destroying the construction work is one of my most memorable episodes. I don't know why, maybe it was the guy in charge of project, or how cute diglett was when he came out of the ground, or when Gary showed up, or when the guy was playing Whack-a-Diglett. :P
Meowth - The anime wouldn't of been the same without him, episodes when he was alone with the other Pokemon we great, they made him look good then suddenly turn on them. I also loved how he controlled Jesse and James 60% of the time. XD
Psyduck - Oh he made me lol, all the times when he got himself into trouble or did something stupid. But the whole time he was one of the most powerful Pokemon out of them all. I loved that episode where Misty though he had evolved when the Golduck was, as she said "A Pokemon version of brock." -.- <-- She pulled that face. :P
Krabby/Kingler - I love him for the fact he says "COOKIE!!" I was like "lolwut!?!" the first time i heard him. Overall he is a cool Pokemon, i loved how Ash used him in the Pokemon League, even though he'd never used him before.
Mr. Mime - Haha, funny Pokemon, i've never used him in the game, i just throught he was funny in the anime. ^_^
Lapras - What a great pokemon, the Orange Islands was based around him in my opinion, I don't know what else they could of got around on. The ending was sad, but it was great to see him go back with his family, i also liked how he was seen later in the Anime.
Porygon - I don't think he was ever in an English anime episode, too bad, i think the concept of being a computer Pokemon is cool. If you didn't see that episode i suggest giving it a watch/read, just skip the bit that gives you seizures.. o_o
Dratini - I love Dragonair and Dragonite aswell but Dratini is so cute. He was never introduced into the English series. Too bad the episode was never released in English, it really needs to be, it makes no sense without it. (Ash's Tauros') If you haven't seen that episode i suggest giving it a watch/read aswell.
Mewtwo/Mew - Simply because of the first movie, that movie is a bag of emotions, the bit where all the Pokemon are fighting their clones was so sad. But the ending was happy. :)

Thats the first Gen, i'll edit Gen 2 later, Gen 3 and 4 will be shorter... a lot shorter.
