    OhIhmGee.

The most epic update yet. It's a series of commericals aired in Japan -

    http://pokebeach.com/2010/08/black-white-wii-commercials-reveal-many-new-scenes

Only the first video really matters, so be sure to watch it. Look at that wonderful production value! Beautifully drawn cutscenes, gorgeous looking 3D-model action, characters with backstory and pasts...

Seeing that scene with Reshiram and Zekrom roaring has convinced me that Black and White have probably the best graphics I've seen on the DS. Really stunning for the DS.

Looks fantastic - that bit with the trainer flying through the rings looks interesting, and I love the fact that they're changing minor, aesthetic things (such as the text boxes coming from the trainers and that green haired trainer talking to the screen), too. I really can't wait - I'm just hoping I'll have my 3DS so that I can buy this for it.

Wait, isn't Black and White for the DS?

But yeah those commercials looks pretty wild. I hate how fucking late we have to wait to get these, though. Like, Japan is getting them this goddamn month!

Oh, yeah. But the 3DS/DSi have the ability to use the camera/extra power for other features, such as simultaneous 4 player video chat, something that I've always wanted to try on a hand held, among other things.

Yep, yep. I definitely want to play this on a 3DS. It looks like it's going to be fantastic.

    Simply pure faggotry.
This is a major cash cow that will sucker kids into playing even more repetitive shitty battles and minor shitty new additions.

    But please continue.

Hater out of the way, there was some shocking news today.

    http://pokebeach.com/2010/09/isshu-starter-evolutions-apparently-leaked-blue-yanappu

Yup, it's the starter evos. Keep in mind, they're not 100% confirmed, but they might as well be, if you read the entire post.

I love the grass and water final stages, with their simplisitc and interesting designs, but... that fire one ._. Definitely not what I was expecting. I'm not hating on it or anything, but I will say it's not exactly my favorite starter evo ever.

And of course, middle evos will always be strange, obscure middle evos, but I do love the water middle evo; it's just as adorable as the starter < 3

Wow, the grass and water ones ... evolve into pretty good things here. BUT THE FIRE ONE??!??! God that's ugly. This could be my first game not starting out with the fire Pokemon ... nooooo.

    Smugleaf turns into milotic? The water starter's 2nd evo looks pretty cool, but I wouldn't evolve it all the way. Everything looks like shit. Fuck this generation ;A;

I'm definitely not disappointed with any of the starters now. For me, it's going to be a tough decision (probably still ending in the water one).

Really, even the fire Pokemon doesn't make you go, 'eww'?

I actually love it. It's my personally third choice, but I still think it's a good design.

It reminds me of ancient asian folklore, for some reason. It's like that one big guy who usually uses drums or something on a battlefield. He can make earthquakes (this is of course, no one in particular. Just trying to give you the image). Fire does symbolize bravery and courage, and he fits those to me.

I don't even intend to level up my starter, anyway.
PC dumping it once I catch someone I care about.
