If that's the case, I'd suggest you get the DSI - it has added features and is overall a decent upgrade. However, I do not have - nor have I tried - a DSI. I've only seen reviews on it, read a little info, and seen pictures of it, but I feel it'd be better worth your money.

Chillin' Posts: 1,204 Group: Birdo Member #11,738 Joined: February 20, 2009	I upgraded from a ds lite to a dsi when the dsi came out. I can say that the dsi is a decent upgrade, I use the camera frequently, and with the ability to download games/apps similar to the wii, it makes it more fun.

Yes, they sound really good, but they don't play any GBA games (which are awesome) and are also very expensive. I would recommend thinking about it for a while first...

Oh and they do NOT break easily, my little cousin constantly throws his at the wall when he loses at a game and yet his is still in good shape.

The Dsi came out and then a couple of months later the DsXL came out. Who isn't to say that in a couple of months time another Ds is going to come out. To be honest I'd save your money untill your 100% about the latest Ds.

Good point, I didn't know they were going to stop makeing new Ds's. However, the new handheld should be good. And I hope it won't be a copy of the PSP, But all I can say is, do you want to wait a year or two to get the latest handheld?
