He's wise, courageous, greatly trusted by the chieftain, delivers mail all across the sea, and gets to visit Link on his travels while staying out of harm's way. TO be more specific I'd say Twilight Princess era link. He has some pretty bad-ass weapons (I'd kill to get a clawshot or the spinner), he can turn into a wolf (insert Furry joke here), and he can kill just about anything with a sword and some well placed bomb-arrows.
