Coming back home on the bus today, for various different reasons I went into different moods when I was thinking about things, and I remembered asking Ice what his favourite song of all time was, and how hard it was for him to figure it out. And also myself. So when I was going through these various moods, I found certain songs seemed to fit the bill more than others.

So, just to kick it off and name a couple:
Angry/Frustrated - Limp Bizkit, Break Stuff
Getting 'Pumped' up - The Fratellis, Flathead (not sure why, just seems to suit it for me)
    Happy - The Killers - Mr.Brightside
    Down/Sad - Coldplay - Fix You

And although it's not a 'mood' per se, 'Bide Your Time' by the Courteeners seems like a perfect Summer song.

    But yeah, gogogo.

Only once you know the question, will you understand the answer.
I don't really have one band that i have to listen to, really it just a general type of music.

Upset or had a bad day: Any hard rock or metal songs
Good mood: Anything I can sing to
Sad: Slower quite songs or no music at all

I listen to Coldplay whenever I need to induce vomiting.

Seeing as all I seem to experience mood-wise is varying degrees of boredom, my choice in music isn't really mood-dependent. I like listening to ambient if I'm reading a book, though. But then 'reading a book' isn't a mood.

    Angry/Frustrated - Disturbed
Getting 'Pumped' up - The Prodigy
    Happy - Hadouken!
    Down/Sad - Sum 41
Always - Coldplay (Earlier Albums that is) or Bloc Party

Well this is always temporary with me, in a month this list will probably be completely different.

    Don't you agree, Zach?

Calm and content: any standards, but especially Sinatra
    Happy: generally 80's rock
Sad/stressed: standards again, but Bobby Darin mostly
Excited: music and game soundtracks, like Duel of Fates (Star Wars) or Zelda theme

That's not all I listen too, but they're my general trends.

Foremost is the chromatic substance accomplishment to Picklegod! Pickle contributes to all parts of the forum, stays astir, and mostly is awful to everyone he meets. A wonderful, intelligent somebody, Pickle testament now better us with every day NF decisions. Approval Picklgod!

Yeah, I hate Coldplay too really, bar that song I think they're wank.

And Chris Martin is a tosser.

When I'm sad, I like The Only Exception by Paramore, I like Hey John, What's Your Name Again? by The Devil Wears Prada when I'm angry, and A Boy Brushed Red...Living In Black and White by Underoath.
