Well im thinking of getting one soon because my birthday is coming up. I can't get an iPhone because i don't have the service you need for it. Is the ipod touch worth it? If anyone on here has it or has an opinion on this can they tell me if it is worth it or not? Thanks in advance =). |

If you're like me and all you want an iPod to do is play music, go for the Classic. If you want web features, then by all means go for the Touch. |

If you want just a music, movie, and picture player, then go with either an ipod nano or an ipod classic, hell you don't even need to get an ipod, because they cost quite a bit more than a normal mp3 player. Unless you really do want more than 8GB, because I can't seem to find an mp3 that isn't an ipod that has more than 8GB of memory. If you really must have those 1000s' of silly apps and web browsing, go for the ipod touch. Don't forget there isn't a service provider for the internet on the ipod touch, so you need to be in an area that has wireless internet. |

it is a wonderful investment. Music, internet, videos, ect. The real key are all the apps available for the piece of hardware. There is so much that you can get to keep you informed and entertained. it is basically all you will need in life to keep up with current events and to be a couch potato (or potatoe?). |

If all you want is music, nothing beats the ol' heavy Brick iPod. Hell, for $200 you get 120 gigs of space. |

I have the iPod Classic with 120GB space. Decent for movies and the shitload of space means lots of movies and lots of music. I don't really care for any web features so I prefer it over anything else. |
