RIP DAVIS Posts: 4,622 Group: Sage Member #1,797 Joined: June 30, 2006	I wanna bring some long running competition to NF. Currently the best competition is how much ass can you kiss so you get saged. So, with that, I think we should have a game ladder. It won't be on any sort of schedule; you can just come and challenge as you please. Rank will be based on win count, so it's easy to keep track, unless I think of something better before we start (of course counting by wins means that if you don't play very often, you won't be very high up). I really hope that we end up at about 6 people on the ladder, as that is usually the number who participate in the other competitions NF frequently hosts. With that, we have to actually choose a game to play. My criteria for game nominations is as follows: -should be under 200mb if it's under 200mb it shouldn't take more than 5 mins to download. -low system requirements pretty self explanatory. -should preform well in a 1v1 setting if you find some fucking Battlefield clone or something, that won't be very fun. could be compatible with macs i'd wanna get LK in on this. My nomination is AssaultCube. A fun, tiny sized, well balanced game that works great in a 1v1 setting. nominations so far: AssaultCube Quake Live Babo Violent 2 Soldat Shoddy Battle Nominations will end on Friday, October 9th. I don't know about that one, since that one has a massive learning curve.
