Just because you're Canadian doesn't mean you have to like them, man. |

For my list, I'm gonna take out Filipino bands. Because nobody cares about them. Except Filipinos. Quite. 10. Vader-Litany Understandable death metal? HOLY CRAP. ...Forwards to Die, Xeper. Man, this is why Vader's so good. 9. she-coloris I have to give credit to Yacht for showing me how awesome "she" is. The vibrant tunes, the infectious beats, just so good. Bit-tunes at it's finest? Hmm. 8.Slayer-Reign in Blood I'll be honest with you, when I heard Raining Blood in Guitar Hero III, I thought it sucked. But the rest of the tracklist is awesome. "Angel of Death", "Piece by Piece", basically, name any track in there, and it's pretty good. Except Rain in Blood. Bleh. [inb4 "s_D, you listened to it like 30 times, wtf. I WAS TRYING TO LIKE IT BUT I CAN'T. The song overall is good, except the solo. Yech.] 7.Daft Punk-Discovery Rusty can yell at me all he wants for saying this is my favorite Daft Punk album, and me thinking it's their finest. I maybe wrong, but I love nearly all the songs in it [glares at Short Circuit]. Great opening, middle, end. Aerodynamic is too good. 6. The Essential Miles Davis-I liked jazz before, but I never realized how good Miles Davis was. The Essential is basically his best hits. So many good tracks in here..."So What" being my favorite. 5. The Cardigans-First Band on the Moon I fell in love with the song "Lovefool". Then my friend suggested to listen to the rest of the album instead of just that one song. I followed his advice. I fell in love with The Cardigans. Oh, this album's just too good. 4. Megadeth-Countdown to Extinction/Rust in Peace This is a tie. I can't decide which album is better; so many good songs in each. Although if I had to pick, I guess Rust in Peace. Tornado of Souls is so awesome. 3. Metallica-Master of Puppets So many good songs in this album; I favor this actually than the Black Album. I mean, CRAP, Battery, Master of Puppets, Disposable Heroes, come on! 2. Annie-Anniemal Annie's "Hearbeat" is one of my most favorite songs ever. I bet I've overplayed it in my last.fm, that the other songs in the album seems to be shadowed by it's awesomeness. But the rest of the album is absolutely fantastic too. 1. Iron Maiden-Number of the Beast The album that started it all for me. I heavily listened to "Run to the Hills", then explored the CD and found amazing, amazing songs. "Number of the Beast", the underrated "The Prisoner", and especially the tantalizing awesomeness of "Hallowed Be Thy Name" [Live]. The album that got me into heavy metal. |
