I think it needs a multiplayer/ co-op mode

I could imagine one of the worlds being the original Donkey Kong arcade game - or maybe a little hidden world, at least. A return to the RPGish roots would be nice - I like SPM, but the pseudo-platforming with RPG elements didn't float my boat that much.

I'd also love to see a Penguin partner in some sort of 'snowy' chapter. I remember in the original Paper Mario the second-to-last chapter took place in a snowy environment with the Ice Palace being the dungeon, and I remember that I thought there was going to be a penguin partner, but there never ended up being one. Other than that, I just want to see a new RPG Paper Mario. I don't hate Super Paper Mario, but compared to the other games in the series, it didn't do it for me. There was no memorable characters, the platforming and RPG elements weren't as polished, and it just wasn't as good overall. I really, and I mean REALLY want a new RPG Paper Mario, and I'll do anything to get a new one.

And Yeah, Crystal King's palace was fucking awesome. I want some form of Co-op play in the new one. I'd like the option of having a friend picking up his wiiremote (or DS) and simply joining in as a partner (or Luigi) momentarily. I think that it would make certain aspects of the game a bit more fun. I'd also like a broader selection of partners, and maybe more powers for each partner. Vivian was cool, but she only had one field power, and it was the same as Lady Bow's.
