I've been searching on the internet for an action replay that is compatible with the DSi. As of this moment, there is none. The Old AR will NOT work with the DSi. You can get an AceKard2i, which supports certain features, but cheating is not one of them.

    Yeah.

And, apparently, Nintendo is cranking up security for the DSi and it's 3rd party flash cards.

One of the biggest thorn's in Nintendo's gold-plated side over the past few years has been the R4 card, a device allowing for the play of hacked titles on the DS system. Now, it appears Nintendo finally has a way to combat this, as they have licensed a new technology developed by UK-based company Metaforic, called MetaFortress. How MetaFortress works is that it detects that a copied version of the game is being played on the DS, and thus, kill the ROM and make it unplayable. What's more, the technology is unchanged by firmware updates, so hackers can't find another way in. Also, it was revealed that Nintendo will be installing this technology into its fall software, and six other publishers will be using MetaFortress in the future as well.

Sounds to me like when this security inevitably fails the won't be able to fix it by firmware updates? Awesome.

Apparently. Or at least, that's what it seems like. Could be another one of those ploys, but who knows. At the very least, it'll provide for some interesting homebrew.

I've never cared for them either. The only times I've used them are for event pokemon (I don't want to drive to Toys R Us just to grab an item to catch a pokemon).

Foremost is the chromatic substance accomplishment to Picklegod! Pickle contributes to all parts of the forum, stays astir, and mostly is awful to everyone he meets. A wonderful, intelligent somebody, Pickle testament now better us with every day NF decisions. Approval Picklgod!

I haven't played my DS in months so I don't intend to get a DSi anytime soon. It does suck though. Eventually good DSi Ware and DSi exclusive games will come out, but by that time, I'm sure the next Nintendo handheld will be out.
    Support Cave Story for WiiWare!!

There's already good DSiWare downloadables. RS09 is a great downloadable title, as is Brain Age, Art Style: PiCOPiCT, Art Style: Aquia, and Dr Mario Express. Dragon Quest is a highly anticipated DSiWare title, featuring up to 4 players both locally and online, with the possibiltiy of utilizing the camera (as RS09 Did.)

    Your timing is way off.

I'm sure Datel will be up to speed on development. Just give them a few months, it'll come. They might wait for a retail title, though.
