I was playing Sonic long before I got Pokemon Blue (the one that I feel started my life as a gamer). For me, the first game to change your life is the game that makes you decide that you really love video games. That's my take on it anyway.

I played Super Mario All Stars first, and I played it a lot, but it wasn't, strictly speaking, MY game. Pokemone yellow, however, WAS mine = ) I played the hell out of that game.

I owned Pokemon Gold earlier, but it was in Japanese, so I never really got far. After getting LeafGreen, I went on to buy the rest of the Pokemon games that ever came out =D
