So, in order to effectively use their shells, the Koopas would have to be incapacitated. I'm going with the 100 Goombas, just because of sheer numbers.

Thus, their shells will be kicked, bounce of a block or wall, then ram the Goombas, killing them. That or the Koopas kill the Goombas from the start. Either way, the Koopas win.

I think I've seen it in Super Mario World. Maybe. But, yeah, Goombas wouldn't do anything but try to hurt the Koopas and only wind up hurting themselves because they would be kicking the shells all over the place. No defense. :\

Bongo Bongo Posts: 7,418 Group: Mewtwo Member #8,116 Joined: February 19, 2008	Koopas can be hit twice, and seem to have more intelligence then Goombas. However, if a shelled Koopa is counted as "dead" then Goombas will definitely win.
