Did anyone play Madden 64? Terrible game. Especially compared to the NFL Blitz games at the time.
ugh dont remind me, I accidently rented that back in the blockbuster days, but I wanted bomberman 64, turns out both games were bullshit Dx

So, vonnick/hellwhole, is my mom a gamer? Answer after reading this. I'm just interested in your interpretation as a gamer.

(A quote by me from an earlier post in this thread:
My mom plays Animal Crossing for hours and loves it. Shes a gamer, just less competitive then you. ")

If you say she's not, then why not?
Like I said she is a gamer nevertheless. But she is not a hardcore gamer. I am very mad with nintendo. I trusted that the wii would bring hardcore games but they're wasting their times making shit like wii music, wii fit and other games which leaves out the people who like to compete against others and go throught difficult levels and bosses which hardcore gaming is all about.
Once again, a hardcore gamer by vonnick's definition is someone who plays games constantly and enjoys them to finish the goal of the game.
My mom constantly plays Animal Crossing to finish the debt that everyone owes Tom Nook.
If you've ever played Animal Crossing (too "casual" for you?) then you would know that paying off the huge debt multiple times takes time, skill, and patience. Much like passing Ocarina of time, Halo, or COD does. But since those last three games involve violence, I'm guessing that they're more "hardcore" then Animal Crossing.
    *rolls eyes*
No I love animal crossing but it is not a hardcore game.

Hardcore Gamer: A player who is willing–and usually desires–to delve into the intricacies of a game, and who strives to meet his or her goals actively.

Casual Gamer: A player who generally does not desire to delve into the intricacies of a game, and who strives to meet his or her goals passively.

Those definitions are complete BS. You're splitting hairs.
    You're saying this:

Hardcore: Gamers who waste their lives learning every secret of every game.

Casual gamers: Gamers who want to enjoy a game without getting tired of it.

Lol I have an idea. Fuck it all. People who play games are gamers. Problem solved. :3

As to prevent any further argument, people who play VIDEO games are gamers. Which doesn't contradict my minigames are not games statement.

I like them but they are highly overrated. They make a new one every year and you buy them for 50 dollars and when the new one comes out the one last year drops 35 dollars.

I hate football as well. Football games too. If they made updated rosters, then there would be no reason to buy the next game. So, yes, football games are a good subject for this topic. Well, at least in my opinion. Because I hate them.

@ darklight: He found out because someone reported it. He clearly said that.

Hello, fellow football and football game hater!

Ghost Recon was terrible, too. How did it get game of the year!? (I don't know which year it was claimed game of the year.)

    Hello fellow soccer lover, Hellhoy!!!
