mmm, well, since the only autotool is 'send to archives', I'll turn that ability on for you. I'm guessing AJ left 'delete' off for a reason. Have fun sending the whole forum to the archives~ (or just old polls your call) |

Move them into archives. Basically, select: Trash Post. Good luck! I'm sure you'll do fine ![]() Anyway, why don't people just choose to be in the group, and the leader can accept or decline the offer. Obviously, we'd be abliged to take anyone, but if the group has too many members, we might need to divert some to other groups. |

Well, I'll just move any locked topics and old RotM threads into the Archive, because I think all reviews should be kept there, no matter how old they are. |

Okay, if the groups were to go through, I've got some ideas on how it could operate and you lot tell me what you think: -4 groups led by 1 person with 2 officers (basically 2 other members that help organise stuff too) Officers could also alternate on a monthly basis. -The group members have a 25x25 icon next to their name (like a sprite or something...infact, yeah, it would have to be a sprite :P) -Groups engage in competitions earning points for their group (the leader keeps record of it in a scoreboard in the group HQ. -The group HQ should have a scoreboard, announcement thread and a chat thread. That's all I have so far.

Don't you agree, Zach?

I like your ideas Shield. I think the officers should be appointed by the clan leader. That way the leader can choose people he/she can work well with. I also think the leader should be on a volunteer basis with admin/mod approval (unless not enough volunteer). I don't know, whatever works. |

You're a louse.

Doesn't that defeat the object somewhat? I don't want to be contradictive but the idea makes me think of a quirk rather than a feature that people will genuinely enjoy. RPs are going down, as are competitions. We're much more interested in posting nowadays; which is a good thing. |

We've just been discussing for 3 pages that we're not just interested in posting! ![]() RPs and competitions are going down because there's no real... motivation, maybe a team effort is what we need. |

Shieldbou, I rather like that idea you came up with about how to sort the groups. I think that the leaders should be chosen by the staff, though, rather than on a voluteer basis. Otherwise, you'll end up with a bunch of unqualified new members volunteering for leadership, and people's feelings will get hurt when they volunteer month after month and aren't granted permission to lead. |

I don't think a poll would be appropriate. I think the groups should be divvied up, then the staff chooses the best person to be leader. I rather like the idea of officers switching |

I agree with the officers switching, but the best person to be leader thing not really. Either way the staff would pick favorites, so I say once you join a team let the members nominate the leader and then they can make up the name and so forth. |

If electing a leader would be troublesome, then perhaps a member of staff or sage should be a leader and see how things work out. |
