To be fair, if this went through, people would only be competing against each other in competitions. The chats would just be the teams... chatting and talking about the competitions. Besides, this will give members something to do. |

I doubt it would be where we deny members just because we don't like them or something, I personally think it's a great thing; as long as no one gets excluded. If someone wants to join, you should let them, but if they are annoying and don't contribute, boot them. Shield, what do you think about my Database idea? |

I have actually witnessed the three team thing (Actually it was 4 but it was a pretty big forum) and it worked out wonders. There would be a separate chat for each team and the teams could go head to head against each other in competitions and such. The names were really random though, the team got to vote what they wanted to be called. It would encourage the members to post and beat the other teams and such. Personally I am all for it. |

Admittedly, it was good. But I'm studying a lot at the moment 'cause I have loads of exams coming up. Don't hesitate in making one yourself, and I can sticky/edit and help you with it. |

Hello little fella!
|
I think the whole Clan thing is awesome, there was one on some DBZ forum I used to go on and it is where you compete with quizzes and stuff. Also, we could have clan games over Wi-Fi like on Brawl or over XBL and PSN |

So the Database isn't even there anymore? I'll try and see what I can do. |

Honestly, I enjoy the idea of groups. To be fair, I think the groups should randomly be selected by the staff, so that there's no one left out, and there's no super-stacked team, either. Wifi competitions, forum competitions, and arcade game competitions between the teams are all ways to bring people together, as well as develop a sort of comraderie between the teammates. I'm all for it, personally, and would be happy to help in whatever way I can. By the way, if no one is stepping up for Review of the Month, then I'd be happy to organize that. If Shield or Catalytic or any other staff member trusts me enough to do it, PM me just to let me know, otherwise... I don't really know. |

Randomly selecting the groups is actually a really cunningly good way Iggy. ;D This could help settle feuds between members. |

It could... I really think the member group idea would be amazingly good. Organizing them might be a bit hellish but other than that, I think it would bring members together. |

Go for it, I guess. Unless someone tells you otherwise. Besides, it's handy if you guys do some of the jobs that aren't already... jobbed.
I thought that's why you wanted it back --- I don't know how the groups would be ran. The other dudes and I haven't really had a chance to talk it over with each other, but I'm sure we will in the new future. Group wise, I'm sure anyone could potentiall run a group. My ideal would to have about 4 groups. |

Well I checked into the Database and it's there, but there is some content missing. I'll try and remember some of the stuff I added and compile it all up for you. The Idea's thread is even there |

Lol..... wut?

I'm all for the group idea! It would really be good to randomly choose so the teams aren't stacked and really only compete against each other in tourneys and other stuff like that(which everyone else pretty much already said :D). Still everyone would be able to talk to each other outside the clan topics that their in. So there really isn't a down side to doing this. |

As fun as me manually putting everyone in different joinable groups at random sounds, I'm going to have to go ahead and suggest it be done a different way. IE each person who wants to participate in a clan-style thing to randomly decide which group to join, or there's a signup thread and each new person is "forced" into the smallest group or something. (I don't really see how a team of internet guys can be "stacked"... ) That is, if you guys really want more group-based chat threads. As a sidenote, when this was tried at a forum I go to, the secret borads fell into disuse after a couple of days. But hey. That doesn't mean anything either way. |

Hey, cool, thanks for making me mod of the Nintendo Power forum. I'll perform my duties to the best of my abilities. By the way, I simply un-pinned the old RotM. Should I delete them, or move them to Old Boards? Because right now I can't do either. |
