It takes me 20 minutes to read 8 pages in Eragon

Don't worry, I'm the same way, maybe even worse. I still love to read though. Brisingr is next on my list.

Yeah I'm gonna read that eventually. It will probably be in a few years if I keep reading at this rate though :(

EDIT: Sorry if I'm feeling sorry for myself too much. It just makes me kinda depressed sometimes.

The Fickle Fascination of an Everlasting God
I just read Brisingr, and thought it was very good. I was kind of bummed, though, that it wasn't the last in the series and I have to wait another year or two more for the last book to come out. Oh well.

Also, in between when I read Brisingr and now, I've also read The Last Lecture, by Randy Pausch. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is the book form of the lecture given by Randy Pausch when he was asked to give a "Last Lecture". Normally, when a professor is asked to give such a lecture, it is only theoretical, and they aren't actually dying. However, soon after Pausch was asked to speak, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. So, the whole book is about how he acheived his childhood dreams, how you can acheive yours, and just overall advice and reflection on life. I highly, highly recommend it.

Well, there's a note at the end. Paolini said that Brisingr ended up being so long that he had to split it into two books. Therefore, it is no longer the Inheritance Trilogy, but the Inheritance Cycle.

    Harsh, but funny. ;)

Has anyone here read Twilight? Everybody at my school loves it so I am going to read it after I read Eragon.

Heard of Twilight, but don't know much. Is it that vampire thing or am I thinking of something else?

It has to be Green. Its the only one left unless they do the kings black dragon.
