We all know it's annoying, yes- but have you ever done a bit of research on who generated that shrill, hideous snigger? Well, you're about meet Deanna Mustard...the voice of Daisy.![]() There you have it folks, she doesn't look that annoying, but it brings me onto my next question: Voice Actors- which ones do you like? Or ones you have interesting facts about? Post them here! |

I'm gonna move this to Other Systems, because Nintendo is pretty lousy on the voice acting front. Anyway, I'm sure lots of people will say David Hayter (Solid Snake... and who also apparently wrote the screenplay for the X-Men movie... what the shit?). He's good, but personally, I always thought the voice cast in the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic series was fantastic. |

David Hayter is unfortunately the only one I really know. I just love his sexy, husky voice. On a side note isn't it strange how people know who david hayter is but many voice actors remain completely obsolete. I know a few of the simpsons ones. |

Charles Martinet is the best at Mario voice acting, in my opinion. |

Are you still referring to Raiden as in MGS? My favorite would obviously be Ellen McLain who did the Portal credits song and the voice of GLaDOS. Amazing stuff, I think. Oh, and the people that did the Mortal Kombat stuff was amazing. Scorpion's, "GET OVER HERE" makes me tingle. |

I believe that was Ed Boon himself that did the voice of Scorpion. Probably wrong though... Jennifer Hale (for her role as The Guardian of Light, Xel'lotath) Charles Martinet (Obvious...) Mel Blanc (Marvin the Martian) Jay Ward (Meta Knight) I don't know the actors who do the following characters, but their voices kick major ass. -Ranulf (Fire Emblem, Radiant Dawn) -Lucario (In Brawl) -Electabuzz (Tv Show) |

Depends how elitist you want to feel. Personally, I like to watch anime, if I wanted to read Gundam, I'd buy the manga. |

That's only usually on shows that are adapted for kid's TV anyway, these days nearly everything's left relatively untouched on the DVD release or if it's aired late at night. Whatever. Anyways, this is a thread on video game voice actors. I'm currently enjoying the guy who plays Travis Touchdown on no more heroes, but at the same time cringing at the woman's faux-French accent. I wish they'd kept it as Texan like they had in the original trailer. |

If you're watching the sort of stuff 4kids touches, chances are your choice in anime is pretty pathetic anyway. Anyway, back to gaming. Another one I quite enjoy is Oblivion. Considering they only use a few voice actors, it's actually pretty impressive. The actors they do make use of are very good, to the point that the use of a single accent per race doesn't really seem to affect the atmosphere or ability to grow fond of individual characters. Also, Patrick Stewart plays Uriel Septim. Captain Picard, damn it. =D |
