Doesn't that phrase just send a shiver down your spine? Well, unfortunately, he doesn't stop saying it. However, there is more to this game then meets the eye... Gameplay The gameplay is very flexible You get a broad choice of various controls, from the Wii remote to the classic Gamecube. This means everyone's happy. However, the Gamecube pad is the same as the Gamecube version... The Gameplay itself is very innovating. The controls are slick, with the A button and B button for attacking, while pressing X activates your Jutsu. Unfortunately, the jutsu aren't as epic as other Naruto games, where you have to press a button combination to achieve maximum power. Oh no. Instead, if you are using the Wii and Nunchuck, you get to simply rotate, push and jerk up the controller to achieve results. Its not as good as you would think though... Graphics The graphics are simply stunning. They aren't eactly eye-popping, but the cartoony visuals are of Wind Waker quality. Dust is actual dust, instead of rediculous fake explosions that were 2d... The lightning is actual lightning, and the 3d effects produced when someone is knocked down is impressive too. There aren't many complaints about graphical power, but the fact the shadows are pixellated tunes it down overall. However, the jutsu everyone can use can be a tiny bit glitvhy, however. Overall, graphic quality is great, but not perfect. Plot There is no real plot to Naruto, with the single player been nothing more then fighting ten opponents. However, there is mission mode, which portrays the storyline of Naruto, from the chuunin exams to the confrontation with Orochimaru. The objectives given are different enough, but they aren't exactly original and unique. If you've watched all the Naruto episodes, you'll find this a complete drag. Difficulty The difficulty can range here, with Genin for the beginners (on the missions) and Jounin for the advanced (also on the missions mode). Since all the difficulties can affect missions, it doesn't effect the award you can potentially get, which is a bit pointless. However, they will entartain you for a while, but not long enough. The difficulty however for the CPU on multiplayer is different, which brings us nicely to... Multiplayer This is undoubtably the best multiplyer Naruto has ever given, as you can play with four people at once. Its like Melee, but slightly toned down. Since there are about 20 characters to play as, there won't be any fighting upon you and your friends. Unfortunately, the characters there aren't exactly amazing. I won't reveal you the characters, but lets just say their a bit... Old. However, that won't stop the hardcore fans from playing... However, this is also a good point, as some of the lame characters from Shippuden won't be there, like Chiyo for instance. Unfortunately, there isn't enough Akatsuki to make everyone happy... However, the multiplayer gameplay itself more then makes up for this small downfall. There aren't that many arenas you can play on too, but still, you can knock opponents to different arenas, so everything is slightly made up for. The arenas are also the main areas of Naruto, so the average fan should be happy. Music The music from this game dissapointed me greatly. It isn't that kind of music that would make you grin and say "Now thats Naruto". Instead, its just some random American-style pop that wouldn't make your ears bleed, but will leave you depressed. It features voice acting, which is a point, but since Naruto's cheesy phrases still exist, the voice acting is actually a downfall. However, some voice acting can be quite good, but the majority is one big fail. Overall This game isn't great, but isn't bad either. The multiplayer is nail-biting, but the rest doesn't structure well enough to keep people playing for ages. You'll like it, but only for a while. If you don't mind a slightly flawed game, with multiplayer almost as good as Brawl, and a impressively good-looking game, then you'll enjoy this game to the very last. Believe it! Rating: 67%

This is the first clash of ninja where you can use more than 1 jutsu and change into deamon fox or sharingan DURING the fight. Amazingly way more fun than the others to me.
