Out of those two towns introduced in the Paper Mario series, which of them do you prefer the most? I love Toad Town. Just thinking about it brings back memories of when I first played the game back in 2001. It resembled a realistic town and it was just plain wonderful. What are your opinions? |

I preferred Rogueport. Mainly because I preferred TTYD over the original. ;] |

Rogueport I guess. It had lots of charm, and was very unique. It served as a great main city. |

While I played PM:TTYD a long time before I ever got my hands on the first one, I'm going to have to say I like Toad Town better. Don't get me wrong, Rogueport was really fun, and I liked it a lot.... I dunno, Toad Town just had more nostalgia or something. |

WHile I only got a brief glimpse of Rougeport, I'm going to have to go with the charming Toad Town. |

Toad Town was too...generic. It was basically the same style as some of the other Mario games. Rogueport was way different. |

You have a good point, but you must remember that when Paper Mario 1 was first released, the only other Mario games like it that were before it were SMRPG and Super Mario 64. |

But there haven't really been any with a town like that recently, though. |

It was hard to choose a better... But I prefer Rogueport because not as big, so less loading times. Underneath Rogueport was pretty cool. Better music |

I think rougeport was the better town, it was full of problems to solve, and i think was a very good central town for PM:TTYD...it had somewhat more culture if you will. plus, the opening intro, gave it that dark mystique from the get-go.

It would probably be Rogueport. Eve though Toad Town brings nostalgia, Rogueport has more to do any seemed rougher and darker, a nice change to the usual towns in Paper Mario |

I do love Rougeport, and the many things to do there. But Toad town, wow. The themes changing when you got near a particular house, the "lil' oinks", the many people and things. Much quirkier than Rougeport, even though I love Rougeport, as it is part of my favourite game. |
<- That isn't what I look like. Windmillman came over and screwed it up and I'm too lazy to fix it.![]() Spoiler: click to toggle | |
