Nonetheless, you could always try lowering the bitrate if you're determined to reduce the size of the file. Well, I'm not sure how I got a 45MB file from 10MB of us talking and a 3 or so MB of the ending song. The opening...I'm not sure. I guess it's my encoder (LAME. No, that's the name of it)

Having a podcast really makes the forum seem that whole lot more professional! Great job!
