The only reason you should ever reset is if a friend comes over to your town and does something like destroy your gold roses and steal your bells. Otherwise, I think you shouldn't reset. And remember. Wash your hands after you go to the bathroom.

That's a joke. He doesn't actually delete the file, trust me, I reset that game so many times and that happened to me, only a second later he starts laughing. Also, Ressetti is cool. I can't tell you how many times I would have quit without saving if he were not in the game. When I first started playing Animal Crossing I would get close to turning the power off then remember that if I didn't save that annoying little mole will come bugging me again!
