I find this really odd, and annoying.. if anyone can help me out you officially own. Okay, my downloads seems to go very slow sometimes, as slow as 80kb/sec This worries me, as my internet, loading pages etc is very fast.. Though this isnt all the time.. sometimes my downloads are as fast as 500kb/sec or with IE sometimes 1mb/sec o.o So, can I resolve this? Downloading a 120Mb file isnt to great at 80kb/sec

There are a large number of variables that determine the speed at which something downloads. It's most likely beyond your control. |

My heart bleeds for you. Mine was capped at 59k/s average downstream until about a month ago. Try downloading 4GB of Linux ISOs on that. Anyway. Grab the DownThemAll Firefox extension- it accelerates your downloads if you use it as your manager (dTaOneClick). |

Location of the file is a big factor, due to this annoying thing that nothing can go faster than the speed of light, downloading something in australia takes longer than something in say france. |

That entirely depends upon where you're located geographically yourself- if you're accessing through an illicit Satellite uplink from the Jungles of Myanmar, you're going to get a better speed from an Adelaide server than an Edinburgh server. |
