DKC 1 and DKC 3 were also really fun, but DKC 2 was probably the better of the three. I remember myself playing DKC 2 for hours, and pretty much never getting bored. I unfortunately do not own a copy of the game anymore, however I plan on downloading it as soon as it becomes available on the Virtual Console. I'm hoping that will be soon.
