    KoRo KoRo KoRo?
Metroid Prime 2 Boss (Dark Alpha Splinter etc.), boss enemies, (like the enemies that also fight you during the battles), Guardians (Jump, Boost, etc.), and Temple-Guardians help FAQ (in order of game)

    Key
    Name: (name of boss)
    Cat: category
    Dam: damage
    Pick: pickups during battle
Gain: Item gained by defeating boss
    Dif: Difficulty
    Stra: Strategy
    Cut: (Cutscene when it dies)
mdm: miss directed missile, my fancy name for a missile that only hits slightly, (is barely off target and does less damage and doesn’t stun as long)

(Any time but best after boost guardian so you can get the seeker missile right after)
Name: Dark Missile Trooper (new scan when it’s health appears)
    Category: Secret mini boss
Damage: 20 damage per missile (fires 5 at once)
Pickup: Missiles, dark/light ammo, random health (matters when you face him)
    Gain: Missile Expansion
    Dif: easy to extremely easy
Stra: If you want to face this mini boss and gain a missile expansion, get the missiles, get the morph ball bomb (to gain another expansion afterwards,) and just fall down the path at the beginning of the game (the greenish smoke area by the ship), and scan the new trooper on the ground, it is just a normal dark trooper with a missile launcher, it has a lot of health, just use your own missiles or charge beam or beam ammo if you have that weapon yet and just kill it, dodge missiles and hammer him, not that much too him
Cut: falls over quick and it can be scanned to say that its computer logbook is damaged

    First:
Name: Dark splinters, alpha splinter (new scan), dark alpha splinter (new scan/actual boss)
    Cat: Boss/Boss enemies
Pick: save station before battle, small energy for defeating dark splinters, missile pickups
Gain: Unknown technology (harness energy from dark temples)
    Dif: Easy/medium
Dam: 10 for dark splinter charge, 15 for alpha splinter charge, 10 for dark alpha splinter burst, 20 for dark alpha splinter charge (plus damage like normal if you touch it)
Stra: the first boss, first you face 6 dark splinters, use charge shots, don’t use missiles, missiles help with the second/third forms, when you beat them, the alpha splinter bursts out of the cocoon on the ceiling, SCAN THIS NOW, it will change into the dark alpha splinter after a couple of hits, it’s normal routine is like a quicker version of the large beetle boss from the original prime, 3 small movements to the right and then it charges, it becomes more erratic when it looses some health, 4 charge shots should change it, afterwards the true boss appears, a dark version of the mini boss, it sprays out dark energy and then charges, scan it, it is a bit quicker than the original version, use missiles and then charge shots, note that the health of the boss now appears, at lower health, it will charge more often and move more often, try dodging it and then using a missile, after many hits it will die leaving the unknown technology
Cut: Staggers and falls over, struggles and then the ing poof out of it and the item appears,

Second: Alpha sand digger (SCAN THIS QUICKLY), Bomb Guardian (Dark alpha sand digger)
    Cat: Mini boss/guardian
Pick: Nothing (except entrance to Agon temple energy controller)
    Dif: Easy to medium
    Gain: Morph Ball Bomb
Dam: 5 damage per bomb, 20 damage if it charges and hits you
Stra: Enter the Agon temple and scan the alpha sand digger like mad, this is probably one of the easiest things to forget to scan outside the ing webtrap, it will transform into the bomb guardian, this is a fast sand digger than can’t be damaged unless it’s mouth is glowing, try getting around to it’s tail when it charges up a couple of bombs, shoot the tail with a couple of charge beams and wait until it’s big maw glows, hit its maw with a mdm and then a charge beam (advanced), or just a charge beam (basic), charge beam does more that missiles, a note for anybody who wants to see something cool, try not attacking it’s mouth when it is glowing, it will release like 20 bombs at once, the more damage the more protective it is about its tail, the less it uses the bombs, the more it charges
Cut: explodes like a normal sand digger and then the ing within it leaves and the boots are left behind

    Third: Jump Guardian (new scan)
    Cat: Guardian
    Pick: Missiles from surrounding pods,
    Dif: Easy
    Gain: Space Jump Boots
Dam: 10 damage for landing on you, 20 damage for the shockwave, up to 5 damage for light blast (plus knockout from the crystal area), 20 damage from hitting you with dark claws, a lot of damage if it takes over your body (10-full health?)
Stra: this is one of the easiest guardians in the game, it is a warrior ing but with the power to jump great distances, use missiles and then charge shots, I have beaten this boss with using only the uncharged power beam, one special thing though it that it forms a barrier if it is about, it normally at the beginning just jumps onto a ledge and then jumps down, try jumping over the shockwaves and hammering it with either a missile or a charge shot, basically, it jumps more often when you lower it’s health, just try staying within the light crystal area to recover more health then he gives you, other than if you are dumb enough to leave the safety of the crystal and be taken over, there is no problem with this guardian

    Fourth: Dark Samus (1) (Scan)
Cat: Guardian, Pre-Final Boss, First form Guardian,
Dam: 20 damage running into you, 20 damage from phazon shield, 30-40 damage phazon missile, 40 damage from phazon ball (some more damage if it hits you more in it), 5 damage each hit from phazon shrapnel, damage from fire if he crashes into a pillar
Pick: Nothing, no ammo, no health, nothing
    Gain: Dark Beam
    Dif: medium
Stra: First round of 5, like a faster version of you with the AI of a computer and extra weapons, strafe away from shrapnel phazon gun, he’ll normally at the beginning try to send a shrapnel blast, then come down, rush, and then try to hit you with his shield, use missiles or charge beam, after I believe ¾ of his health is gone, cut scene, he will form a mini phazon shield around at all times and try to hit you with a VERY POWERFUL missile and a powerful ball of phazon energy, strafe twice at the last moment to dodge the missile, try hiding behind a pillar (a bit far away) and he’ll explode the pillar and give you a sec or 2 to damage him, you can only really attack him after he attacks (his mini phazon shield will go down,) just lock on and shoot whenever his shield is gone, a few more hits and he’ll be dead
Cut: He makes a weird noise and then the phazon starts dripping off of him, he goes up into the air and his body partially explodes leaving a cloud of phazon dots floating in the air

Fifth: Amorbius (sorry for spelling), Amorbius 2
Cat: Guardian and Guardian Second Form (Big and Bad)
Dam: 40 damage if he jumps into you, 30 damage from the initial burial underground if he rams into you. 20 damage and freeze for a while if his dark burst hits you, 20 damage if he rams you (second form) like 10 damage if you hit his lasers (second form), 15 if he expels you (you decide not to damage him)
Pick: Energy from light crystals and light beacons, like full health and full missile recovery whenever you damage one of the guardians, light beam ammo works well here as well
Gain: Dark Suit, energy from dark Agon
    Dif: medium to hard
Stra: The big bad guardian, and there are three, once you get the 3 dark Agon temple keys, jump down, you can scan the ball in the center, and it says it is made of an extremely powerful alloy and it is feeding energy to the creatures, well anyway, there are 7(?) light beacons/light crystals, stay in one crystal through out the match (unless the crystal is neutralized) Pretty much there is one of them, then two of them, and then finally three of them, Amorbius look like large worms with 2 red eyes and a huge gaping mouth, their first attack is that they burry underground and then come up, it does a he** of damage if it hits you, you can see whenever it is about to come up (look at the quakes and the moving sand to see where he is. When you see him and he is far away, use either missiles or charge shots. Destroy his shell (there are like 6-7 pieces per Amorbius) and he will go into his second form, Amorbius will attach to the giant ball and either try and ram you (just keep out of his range) or use a little dark beam that neutralizes a crystal (just go to another crystal), Kill him by continually shooting his head while in his second form, His head will blow up and you can enter in with your morph ball form, lay a bomb and Amorbius will be damaged, this happens two more times, with one more Amorbi being added each time, also there is a gigantic energy beam attack that will blind you and most likely force you out of a light crystal, the more Amorbius’s there are, the more chaotic it gets!!!
Cut: It attaches to the tail and tries to get more energy, it is failing so it moves the dark energy ball up and down, Amorbius explodes and the dark energy ball explodes violently (a bit like emperor ing explosion) leaving the dark suit behind, one note, this room turns into an area of 8-warrior ing at once if you return there to greet you

Part 1 done (Dark Suit Acqquired), second part below masky :-)

Err you should make the title say "Metroid Prime 2 Boss Review"
because I thought you meant Metroid Prime, and some strange person might think you mean hunters or corruption or something.

I wonder where these bosses come from? Are they just confined to one room? What do they eat?

    KoRo KoRo KoRo?
This is the second section ending with Chykya, the final boss of the torvus bog

    Name: Boost Guardian, Inglets
Cat: miniboss,(Ing guardian + [helpful] inglet)
Dam: 40-200 (puddle), 15 damage for claws, 30 damage from turning into boost ball, 40 from actual boost ball made by his boost ball, up to 5 damage per light blast, inglets do 5 (run into them) to 10 (smack you), CONSTANT DARK DAMAGE
Pick: 4 Ultra Energies 100 health per one = 400 health (from 4 pillars, he has to hit them), small and medium energies from inglets
    Gain: Boost Ball
Dif: INTENSE (Hardest Boss) to WTF (on hard mode)
Strategy: OMFG this is the hardest boss in the game, right from the beginning, charge light beam and hit him a whole bunch of times, when he turns red he’s transforming and you can’t hit him , JUMP over the boost ball and either try to missile it, or just jump, he will eventually hit a pillar (instant turn into a puddle) or hit him with a missile or charge beam, I recommend saving puddles for the end when he stays out of his normal form, attack inglets whenever they appear (more at the end), in puddle form, IMMEDIATLEY switch to morph ball and bomb it, he’ll transform back, attack him, repeat the process and go berserk whenever you can hit him,
    Cut: Falls down and explodes

    Name: Giant Blogg
    Cat: mini-boss, not dark
Dam: 40/50 (charge), 15 (teeth), 10 per chomp (if morphball)
Pick: before Battle you obtain Gravity Boost, no health
Gain: see Pick, obvious health after
Dif: moderate to difficult, difficult on hard mode, annoying to some people, incredibly annoying to others, it matters how you play and how well you use the boots
Strategy: Strategy, use a normal charge beam to provoke it, then use fully charged beam, missiles, or dark beam (fully charged ONLY) to hit it, its difficult because it moves really quickly and it does sensational damage, use either sidesteps or the boost to doge,
Cut: It runs around the stage and goes up, crashing into the wall exploding, allowing jets to appear in the area
Other: There isn’t that much to say about this mini-boss but don’t be too offensive, learn to use boosts before you have to face it if you have trouble

    CONTINUED LATER
