They used boats back then. It takes a long time to get across the Atlantic Ocean to England, just to have news sent back to how to deal with the war. If they had planes(without weapons) then it would have been an either quick war, or Britain would beat us because they'd have all the recon they needed.
Sadly...no. If I was i'd be smarter and able to hold my own in the debate forum, would I not?
I think British people are cool. I respect you; sorry for my questions about if you still wore those hideous red outfits. I just find it unnerving that alot of you think all of America is horrible.(Seems as though you consider our President is the carbon copy of all of us) |

I am not exactly sure how and why you think living or being born in England would make you smarter... |

Working on the same logic that makes most Americans stupid. Hey, stereotypes have to come from somewhere. In England putting someone's stapler in Jelly (or as you call it, Jell-O) has about four different reasons for being funny. None of which are "His stapler is now in Jell-O". In America, the punchline would be "His stapler is in Jell-O". Fun fact: I can't remember the name's of any American comedians, and yet, I can run of a list of Canadian, Scottish, English comedians in a matter of seconds. |

I was in London recently (though I only had 14 channels in my room) late-night tv just consisted of one weird game show after another. We did watch some shows that I'll admit where hilarious, like Mock the Week. That's a great show... |
