Wow, I didn't really look that much at the controller. Now that you posted that, I see how it looks like a mix of various Nintendo controllers. |

So how did they copy the shape of the controller? |
| Power and wisdom seem to be WAY better than courage. It seems like Nintendo was running out of ideas even back then. | |

That picture does explain the design a bit more.

Heh, that's cool. Poor Sony, they can't make anything themselves. |

Woahwoahwait. So the Xbox controller didn't have a home button? That's news. At any rate, I love it when people throw around the idea that X has copied Y as far as fundamental things such as... including a D-pad is concerned. It's like saying that the Audi TT copied the Ford Capri because both use round wheels... |

Honor of introducing the Center button with a logo on it belongs to the 360, not the Wii, as do triggers (As opposed to the Gamecube in that case). Those two obvious blunders make me question the integrety of the whole thing. What they steal the clickable analog sticks from? The XBox 360? |

Wow. Ok. Copying is necessary for business. Coke copies Pepsi and same for Sony and Nintendo. Nintendo has copied Sony by using DISKS for games. |

![]() Note the controller in the back. I think that's an anolog stick by Sega from 1983. Also, feel free to brush up on your console history. You might just find out that the big companies have always simply done what everyone else was doing, only they did it better for a variety of reasons. |

Just for the record, I found that pic on a thread at Gamefaqs, I didn't make it. But I disagree with the Home button, doesn't 360 have that? |

It has a center button that does a lot more, as does the PS3s if I'm not mistaken. So the PS3 is copying the 360 there. Home was found on PSP before the Wii anyway, even if it was a Home button. |

Only thing in that pic that Sony truely copied was the gyroscope and the LED player indication lights. |

Weren't analog sticks used for Atari. That was the only way to play until Gumpei Yokoi invented the d-pad. |
