Just finished Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray.(for ap literature) It was pretty good, although it had a string of slow chapters in the middle. |

we're reading Les Misérables in french. Each person in the class has to translate half of a page into English. It's pretty cool and an easy grade |

The Curious incident of the dog in the nightime That one is brilliant Branxjas, really fascinating, how autisitc people can remember so much, true potential of their brains is astounding. As for reading, I've done english for A-level and I'm doin hit at university now, so I read a lot. But even I like the base pleasures such as harry potter, and the such. Lord of the rings, were good, although I found it quite hard working through them, as a lot of the chapters slowed down the flow of the story for me. As I mentioned in an earlier thread, "The Third Policeman" is the book I've most recently read. It's excellent and highly reccomended for people with a quirky sense of humour and mystery. Reading is brilliant, I hate people who regard it as something only geeks do. Saying that, those people are normally buboury clad morons. |

A truer thing has never been said. I'm into gothic horror at the moment. Things like Dracula and Edgar Allan Poe are the best. Terry Pratchett and Phillip Pullman are my other favourites. |

I know. That book (The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time) is so amazing! My friend was telling me about it and I finally gave it a shot and it turned out to be one of my favorite books of all time. But Chosen At Random I loved Dracula. Im reading Mary Shelley's Frankenstein right now. |
