All I can tell you is that I have more 64 games than GCN games. THe 64 was a better system for me, I don't care what you think.

what part of that don't you get? I'm not arguing for anything(at least I'm not trying to). The 64 was better to me games wise than the GCN. End of story.

edit:
games on that list I actually have:
13: Battalion wars (way too short)
16: Tales of Symphonia (awesome)
19: Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronichles
Games I played:
1: Resident evil 4 (awesome-borrowed from a friend)
2: Super monkey ball

Funny 'dat. 'Specially considering:

Also, if you're gonna say something like:

Then why the hell should we care what you think? If you don't want our opinions, don't post yours.

Oh yeah, and I've played/owned all the games I've mentioned. And they're all freaking awesome. And don't you think it's a bit unfair that whilst you only have to mention 16 games to prove your point, I have to mention 50? How does that work?

it is. The hardware compared with the Ps2 and Xbox, is, in simple terms, a piece of *censored*. Notice how I'm not saying anything bad about the software.

7: Eternal Darkness
13: Battalion wars

those 3 arent 3rd party

you're right, I don't like all of those. And some of those were probably made players choice becasue they were never worth $50 in the first place.

I'm being dragged into a debate here that I really don't want to be in.

The gcn is a pos. the ps2 kicks both it and the xbox's ass in marketshare[sales...overall global domination]. with xbox in 2nd...that makes gcn worst. It wouldn't be the worst if it were a better product than the others.

I liked my 64 better than the gamecube. that's all I meant to say. I'm sorry if some of you [jonzai] had to get all irritable...

and I think it may have been caused by a grammatical misunderstanding. When I said the 64 was better to me, I didn't mean I think the 64 is better than the GCN flat out and I want to prove it.

I meant the 64 provided me with more games than I bought for the gcn. [ a similar sentence, ie: School has been good to me. ]

Now if I said N64 was BETTER to me THAN the GCN. all of your arguments would've actually had been on good grounds.

*bing*

Also;
Fact
# a statement or assertion of verified information about something that is the case or has happened; "he supported his argument with an impressive array of facts"
# an event known to have happened or something known to have existed; "your fears have no basis in fact"; "how much of the story is fact and how much fiction is hard to tell"
# a concept whose truth can be proved; "scientific hypotheses are not facts"

Opinion
a personal belief or judgment that is not founded on proof or certainty; "my opinion differs from yours"; "what are your thoughts on Haiti?"

Your argument has been entirely comprised of opinions. No proof. No certainty. Your statement has not been verified. It is your personal beleif. Thus it is opinion.

lol?

I haven't counted in a long time and I'm not about to count now. But I will approximate the systems I care about.

NES games - 275
SNES games - 30
Gamecube - 30
Playstation - 3

Also, nobody cares who thinks what system is better. Just fyi.

To that Nintendo_Golfer fool...

The GC's hardware beat the *censored* out of anything else on the market, so you're obviously talking crap.

The hardware on the GC slapped the PS2s, and was virtually non comparable to the Xbox's, due to the proc arc they were using (GC's 500MHz odd PPC vs Xbox's 700MHz x86 Celeron...), which actually was a far better choice technichally (if you need proof, just check the latest generation of consoles!), was reasonably difficult to program for, than standard x86.

Anyway, I've waffled on too much.

No I'm thinking, Best Hardware is usually Best Selling, and when it's a spread of more than 80 million...then it's pretty clear.

the specs the GCN had, it obviously made very poor use of them. The Xbox was flat out the most powerful. The Ps2 made the best use of what it had. and 106 million sold > 20 million. it's not even close.

This isn't the debate forum. The subject is how many games you have for each system, not which system is better.

If an admin wants to open it again, they may.
