... it's impossible to burn a disc without a burner. You sure you don't have a combi drive or something?

I'm not sure what your problem is. It's possible that there's some sort of copyright control or something integrated with the software you're using... but I can't recall WMP having anything like that.

What sort of error message (if any) do you get when you attempt to burn it?

Maybe I do... idk. But when I try to burn them it says "No CD Burner Detected"

And I have put music onto CDs before so...

Right then... how many drives do you have? Moreover, are the drive you do have running AOK?

I meant CD drives. :P Though I'm guessing you only have one, since A and C drives are typically the floppy disk and hard disk drives respectively.

Have you tested whether or not your CD drive works for playback at least?

One of the... things? Ah, alright. :P Well, if it brings in more ships...

Are you 100% it isn't a configuration problem or hardware blip? Probably would be best to look into that first.

Hm. Well, have you tried burning a CD using a program other than WMP? Nero, perhaps? WinXP can burn discs itself, can't it?

Ah, so I guess that explains it! :P Well, good luck with picking up another drive. I think they're cheaper than they used to be a few years back now.
