![]() Anyone who purchased a DS either will have or must play this game even if it is just for 10 minutes or so it is worth it. To put it simply this game is concentrated fun, nearly every mini game is fun and original! The stylus input is awesome and all you need, secretly I played this through before getting into super mario 64. The menu screen contains different little characters from the games, which you can drag around and drop in different places, you simply poke the people with the stylus to play their mini-games, and the games range from using the stylus to poke, drag, cut, lift, spin, screw and more. ![]() ![]() Not only that there is a microphone input, so more innovation is brought to the game with the intorduction of the microphone games, these include blowing a trumpet tune, keeping an old man afloat so he dosen't get eaten by sharks and others. Wario Ware does keep you amused for a good while, but after the mingames have all been completed there are also the special games in the "toybox" these aren't conventional wario games, most are fun things that show off the uses of the DS, and honestly I found them to be some of the coolest aspects of the game, definitely the best in-game secrets I've seen in a hell of long time! They include things like a piano which you can play with the stlyus or your fingers, a harmonica you use with the microphone, an oven timer (yea i know, they obviously ran out of ideas) and a cool draw an paint option. Overall the game uses the DS' capabilities to a high standard that no game yet has surpassed or even equalled, like the Ds iteself though it is a case of innovation and originality and thus comes out as an appealing game overall. The two screens are used effectivly in that most of the games will explain what you must do on the top screen while you have to do it on the bottom. There are of course some flaws to the game, the lastability is pretty poor, there is no multiplayer functions and that would be an amazing addition to the game and would add some needed lastability The lack of lastibility is the main rpoblem with wario ware, this is due to the simplicity, while it is so beautifully simply it is fun this does make the game a breeze and you will rarely throw the game down in frustration. Some may see this as a good thing and for wario ware novices it is, but even they will skim through the game and once all the mini games have been exhausted you will only slot this into your ds to show off to your m8's what you lil silver baby can do. So I close in saying wario ware is good but definitely has it's limitations, in my opinon you should lend it from a m8 for bout a week before buying. Graphics - 7.5/10 they show off the style but not the graphical power of the ds Sound - 4/10 nothing special can get aggrevating at time Pick-up-n'-playability - 9/10 so easy it's criminal gameplay - 8/10 gets borin' after a week lastability - 3/10 poor, pretty darn poor 88% - pretty good P.S thanks for readin my first review I hope you liked it, pls dnt slate me if it is crap |
