    Super Smash Bros.

    Console: Nintendo Gamecube
    Genre: Fighting

Story (1/10): The story is rather hard to grasp, but I think what happens is that a kid’s Nintendo trophy collection comes to life, and the characters start fighting each other. This is made apparent from the Game Over screen showing a trophy of your character, and when the battles start, the characters are initially trophies, but come to life before the battle starts. It’s a rather pathetic story, but that really isn’t the reason you play this game.

Enjoyability of Game (9.5/10): This game could easily be one of the most enjoyable games ever. The variety of items and characters, not to mention levels, will keep a smile on your face. Another nice feature is that you can use specials without entering lengthy combos. Pretty much the only part of the game that isn’t enjoyable is beating all of the Event Matches, and even some of those are fun.

Length of Game (7/10): The single player modes are rather short, but clearing all of them with all of the characters can take some time. Beating all of the Event Matches can also be a very long experience. Clearing out the game 100% also increases the length of the game, but that’s probably too long for most gamers.

Difficulty Level (9/10): The new randomization of opponents in Classic Mode keeps you from planning ahead and picking the character that can most easily beat the enemies that will show up. The introduction of Crazy Hand and Giga Bowser also make the Very Hard difficulty level live up to its name very well.

Multiplayer (10/10): Super Smash Bros. Melee, like its predecessor, was designed for multiplayer gaming. Playing with three friends will bring loads of fun. This is a great party game. It absolutely deserves a 10 in multiplayer capabilities.

Replayibility (10/10): You will definitely be playing this game for a long time. The large amount of settings and items allows you to create your own ways to play. Fighting using nothing but Bomb-Ombs is also one of the most hilarious parts of the games, especially if you have computer opponents in the game, because they tend to blow themselves up. There is little chance of the game being repetitive if you have a few friends to play with.

Music (8/10): A theme for each battle stage/event. Nice qualities of music such as Link, Pokemon, etc.

Graphics (8.5/10): Nice 3-D look, but sometimes it can get small to see characters when you ever change viewpoints automatically, still nice 3-D look to it!

Overall (9/10): So many qualities in this game, you will have a very fun time. Don’t settle for a rental. Buy the game. You won’t be disappointed.

Great Review! I don't agree with some parts, such as these:

SSBM is quite possibly the longest game I have ever played. I still don't have everything.

This game is insanely hard. Try geting 11,000 ft. in the home run contest with Ganondorf. It's been done. It's also extremely hard.

Uh....this game doesn't even have a story mode.

    Besides those things, great review!

    but I think what happens

/\ Story. Have to read that, that's what I think happened. And there's a beginning mini-clip movie of what happens before you press start.

And the longest game is Animal Crossing. It never ends.

^ That's what I rated the difficulty level. 9/10 which really hard.

Even though you gave enjoyablility 9.5, I would have given it 10 because the event matches were good I tinkit added incentive to beat them all, but apart from that spot on review.

Proudly humping your leg since 2005!

Sweet review. I also don't really think there's a story to it. It was made to bring alive the debate of 'Which one is best' or 'Link can kick Mario's :bleep: any day. Wanna bet? Nah, Samus can cream both of them.'

    There SHOULDN'T be a story.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I just feel like I'm giving birth to a flaming porcupine on the floor of an igloo during a hemmorage attack while simultaneously being given a root canal by a blind dentist while he plays Taylor Hicks songs to old folks with overflowing bladder bags.

Nice review, but it wasn't fair to review the story :P It doesn't really have one at all.

reasons why i did not like the review:

first: there is no story just a sub plot

second: this is one of the best gamecube games of all time it should be rated 9.5 or 10

reasons why i did like it

    first: good pictures

second: one of my favorite games
I usually don't post here that often anymore...

Find me on Steam if you wish to contact me: KoRoBeNiKi or the same name on smashboards where I am quite active

I rarely play brawl, nor melee, nor smash 64 but I still know what I am talking about so if you have any questions, message me. Too busy/not caring enough

I will most likely be going to Apex 2013 though so if you wish to meet me, message me.
