Leo held the door for Tara, letting her enter before he crossed the threshold. Once she had passed he went inside, relieved by the warmth inside. He lead Tara to a small table in the corner by the fireplace. He pulled her chair out for her, and waited for her to sit before he rested in his seat.
"I love this place, its always so quiet, perfect for reading." Leo said quietly. "I used to spend hours in here catching up on muggle books or legends."

Tara was flattered by all that Leo was doing for her; pulling out her chair, holding the door, taking her to coffee. It was a bit overwhelming! Her cheeks flushed to a soft pink as she looked around. She could feel it, but she hoped it wasn't as obvious because it could have been from the cold outside.
"It's really cozy in here... I should come here on break more often." She gave a small giggle before looking around the small shop a bit more. It was very nice and warm, almost looking like a small cottage.

Leo continued to smile, and shook his head to move some of his shaggy black hair away from his eyes.
"Can I get you two anything?" a voice said Leo knew who it was without even looking at her. He sighed he really hoped she wasn't working today. Leo looked up at his twin sister's face. She stuck her tonuge out at him. Leo rolled his eyes and looked back at Tara's confused face.
"Raven bought this place with her inheritance from Grandma Bess after McSimmond's finally lost all of his marbles. Both her and Aurora Arielli run it now." Leo explained quickly. "I'm just gonna get some coffee, Rave. Tara what would you like?"

Tara heard a familiar voice and she looked up, surprised to see Raven's smiling face. She raised an eyebrow, wondering when she had started to work in Diagon Alley.
"Raven bought this place with her inheritance from Grandma Bess after McSimmond's finally lost all of his marbles. Both her and Aurora Ariellie run it now. "I'm just gonna get some coffee, Rave. Tara what would you like?" Leo asked her with a smile across his lips.
"Um... well, I haven't had it in awhile... but do you make Pumkin Spice Lattes? My mum used to make it for us during the winter of our fifth year and she said that it wasn't her recipe," she looked up to see both Raven and Leo looking at her with weird looks.
"Sorry... started rambling again, didn't I?" she questioned with a small giggle in her voice once again. "What I'm trying to ask is do you have those here?"

"No worries Tara, Ray rambles constantly when he's nervous... at least until I cast a little silencing spell to quell his babbling." Raven said laughing quietly. "But I'm sure a pumpkin spice latte would be no problem."
She turned to Leo. "And my dear loving brother, what will you have?" She said, mocking him slightly. She heard it in her mind before he had a chance to speak. "A plain coffee? Just like your personality. Coming right up guys."
Raven spun on her heel and walked away, she opened the solid oak door to the kitchen and the sound of "The Bicorn Beasts" record that was playing in there flowed into the shop before it was silenenced by the heavy thud of the door closing.

Tara smiled as she watched Raven's back retreat into the kitchen. Once she had gone, she looked out at the snow that was still falling.
"We haven't gotten this much snow in awhile," her smile was still on her face as her eyes roamed back over to where Leo was. "Maybe you can come over after work and we can make snowmen like we used to."

Leo's mind flashed back to the times at the Weasley house. He used to spend his Christmas holidays there with his sister after his grandparents died during his fourth year. He read about it in a letter on Christmas morning. The words didn't make sense on the paper, there was no way people as strong as his grandparents could sucum to a mortal death. But it was true, and all at once he and his sister had become orphans with nothing but each other. The Weasley's took them in whenever they needed it, their warm home was a sanctuary. He was forever grateful. Even now that he lived in London with his three best friends, he longed to be in the snow covered front yard building wizards, elves, and witches in the frosty english slush.
Coming back to reality he smiled brightly. "That would be great, you know how I love the snow." he said quietly in an airy voice, still thinking about the past. And hoping for the future.
The sound of rock music and the scent of hot coffee filled the room again as Raven returned with their beverages.

Raven sat the hot drinks on the knotted wood table.
"Well, it may not be Ms. Weasley's old recipe, but I tried my best, I hope you like it Tara, I may have to visit your mum for the instructions, making this one reminded me of how delicious they are." Raven said smiling as she passed the mug to her old friend. "And here you go Leo, plain coffee, you were never one for frills were you?" She chuckled at her brother. "So you're both working nearby? Well, stop in anytime, we're going to have concerts everynight starting soon, and free coffee for the both of you." She gave them a wink and left to continue putting the finishing touches on her new shop.
Brandishing her wand she lifted various posters and frames with a simple charm and fastened them to the brick walls. She turned and excecuted a spell she had learned just for this purpose. In an instant the ceiling of the shop was exactly like the sky outside, a smokey gray color with the winds moving the clouds around lazily. This way, even when she was working late, she could still stare at the night sky.

Tara's face lit up when the Pumpkin Spice Latte was placed on the table in front of her. She breathed in the scent of it before wrapping her hands around the mug and and letting the warmth from the mug pulse through her hands to heat up her body.
"So are you going to be going on any other exciting adventures anytime soon?" she questioned before taking out her wand, putting a little cooling spell on the beverage before bringing it to her lips and taking a sip.

"Nah, not likely...for now. I'm ready to just relax in London for a bit, I'm renting a flat with Dixon, Lucas, and Nate. We're all so spread out since Hogwarts, Ravens living with Ray, Aurora is always popping in and out to see Lucas, and Jade's constantly apparating from St. Mungos to see "Natie". Thats why I took a job so close to here. So I could constantly be near the people I care about, and see them often." Leo said, with a very small wink.
He looked down and sipped his coffee, watching Tara sip her own pumpkin drink. This is how it should be. Peace at last.

"Oh, that's so cool!" she exclaimed with a smile. She hadn't seen the Marauders in awhile, so it was nice to hear that they were all doing well. "Maybe I could see them again sometime? It's been awhile since I've seen all of you... they all must have changed a lot..." she said quietly, trailing off into some thoughts, before pulling herself back by unconsciously touching the warm mug again with her hands, as if they were attracted to it.
She looked down at the mug and picked it up once more, taking a few more sips while thinking quietly and listening to the little bit of music she could still hear coming from the back room where Raven had disappeared earlier.
"So... why'd you come back here? I thought you liked adventure out there, like what you did up in Ireland. Why come back to a quiet place like this?" she questioned, her voice gentle. She knew that there were alternative motives for why Leo had come back and she'd just keep prying until she got the real answer.

A million reasons flooded his mind. He wished he could set them free. He wanted to know how he missed her. He wanted her to know how every night he stays awake, wondering what she's doing and longing to be near her. He wanted her to understand all the feelings he felt when he was around her ever since he first met her at the tender age of eleven. He had thought of no one else. He'd always tried to protect her, she was the most important person in his life. If she only knew...
"I came back because... I missed the places, I missed the culture, Ireland is so far away the distance was painful, I missed my friends of course.." He paused for a second and drew a slow breath. "But... most of all... I missed you..."
A mixture of relief and worry swept through him. He had finally gotten part of what he wanted to tell her out. She at least had some idea of just how much she means to him. But... what if she didn't feel the same? She was his dream girl, she had always been... what would he do if she felt differently?
He removed this idea from his mind, casting it aside like a soiled piece of parchment. He focused on Tara, smiling sweetly.

Tara had kind of expected that answer. She had a hint that he had liked her since they were in school, but she hadn't really assured it until now. It was good to finally have an answer.
"Leo... I missed you too..." she said with a small smile. "But I think there's something you should know."

He felt a slight surge of joy, followed an overwhelming feeling of dread. She didn't feel the same, he knew it.
"W-what is it?" He said quietly, a genuine concerned look on his face. He gripped his coffee mug tightly, feeling the warmth of the dark liquid within.

"Well... Peter has been trying to get me to be his girlfriend ever since I graduated. So if he found out about you liking me, I don't know what he'd do. I just don't want him to hurt you or for things to get out of control. I'm just worried," She explained with a somber look on her face. She glanced back over to Leo, the concern written all over her features.
