I found this website that gives the history (including pictures) of the old Funhouse. I used to love the funhouse as a kid and could not believe they had changed it. It was interesting to read in this article that managment back then didnt want people to spend so much time on that attraction and that is why they changed it... I think that could have been a mistake seeing that it was one of their core attractions.

Any thoughts out there?

This was an interesting article to read. It was most interesting to see the Horror Hotel makeover since it was not open on my last trip.

Did any part of this survive the auctions/vandalism/demolition?

A few mirrors were sold off. The person that demolished the building kept the barrel and the mechanism to run it. But he's using it at a haunted house.

How about the museum? Was that preserved in any way that you know of? Does Mr. Lanciani know?

I'm not 100% sure about teh museum. I think it was split up. There are some two be Museum pieces on hold for us by the present property owner Such as an Original coaster car, Track section, Bouncer cup, and more.

I think the guy from the Puppet Theater has a bunch of things he saved, but I am not sure if it was his personal items, or from the museum they had on site.

I am thinking of emailing him and buying his DVD
