Star Wars Land is going to be a zoo when it opens. I can already picture people waiting 10 hours in line for a ride, and even a half hour wait for a Star Wars themed restroom.

It will be nuts. but keep in mind Toy Story Land will be opening up around it and The park still has a few solid attractions on the opposite side of the park.

Sadly these new themed areas are modeled of of the harry potter expansions where there is one or 2 solid rides and the rest of the area is restaurants and shops.

Dang that is a bit disappointing. You would think that Disney would do something much more original with the Star Wars land layout.

I read that Disney is planning on adding an ariel gondola system, as an alternative expansion plan to the monorail system. The lift they are planning on adding is essentially half way between an Ariel Tramway, and a Gondola. Infact its the same type of lift that Whistler Blackcomb has.

Heres a link if you want to read more about it. http://www.screamscape.com/html/walt_disney_world_resort.htm#Skyway

Interesting idea though I don't know how practical it would be.

as for the themed areas the Fantasy land expansion was the same way. They added the seven Dwarfs coaster and the Little mermaid ride and that's it. the rest of the area is gift shops and restaurants. A few interactive things that I believe you have to pay extra for.

Disney has been doing this for a while now. Their foreign parks have added mini lands that have 1-2 attractions with support building of gift shops and restaurants.

Disney often have amazing idea and plans I just wish it didn't take them so long to get them built. I mean they now spend more time on one land then Walt Spend building all of Disneyland.

When I first heard about Avatar the ride, I thought it was gonna be a dumb concept considering I didnt care for the film that much. This video changed my mind.

Nice find. wish that it didn't end before showing off all the nighttime effects. I've seen a few photos and the area looks even better at night.

The Navi River Journey looks fun and I know it's video effects I new from the commercials but it looks fun nun the less. The Right of passage sounds great and I'm thrilled that the seating setup is different form Soarnin I was afraid they were going to simply transplant the ride system. There dose seem to be a lot to explore and I live like all the water features.

i do wish it had at least one more attraction. Even if it was something small.

The whole pandora area is based upon that one attraction. Navi river is just its side dish.

When the area was first proposed they had talked about 3 attractions. Disney even put in a patent for a ride mechanism that worked on wires that would allow guest to control the flight.

Over planing in phase one is a Disney norm. Dino land was originally going to have a much bigger. The headliner was originally going to a a wood Rapter themed coaster.

Sounds like Disneyland really needs to fix their schedule system, or they may end up getting sued.

It also sounds like Sarahs managers were very nice. However Harveens managers sounded like a bunch of a$$holes!
