Hi everyone,
Talking to lots of people about what type of book they take away with them on holiday there's a difference of opinion as to what's best.
Do you take away a book to do with the destination you are in, a thriller, autobiography, etc? What was the last book you took away with you?

Poor bloggy, how boring life must be...

Well I go on holiday, every opportunity I can get. Maybe not exotic but holiday all the same. Usually if I take reading material it is about the destination, local points of interest etc etc. But if I was to take a novel it would be whatever I was currently reading at home. Last time I took a novel it was Return of the King during my second read-through.

I am relatively predictable in which books I take anywhere;

If New Terry Pratchett Book = 1
Then Read New Terry Pratchett Book
Else Read Robert Rankin Book

Usually something that I never get around to reading! I never pick a specific type, I just take whatever I'm reading at the time. Went away for 4 nights this week, and took HP7 which I'm nearly finished, ready for the film!

Usually I take whatever I was already reading and - if I think I'd finish it - what I'd read next.

I have a lot of books left unread atm, so I have plenty to pick from (usually in some genre or another not keen on straight drama).

I thought about getting an e-reader, but then realized I'd just have more books that I wasn't actually reading on my hands.

Maybe someday.
