Geezie! Of coooourse I'm teasing. It seemed so fitting considering the comment made beforehand about not having to go to a church etc. But oh well, I'm so misunderstood.

no you're not. i understand you quite well. ![]() i was sure you were teasing and the was just you doing your thing. ![]() anyway the churches in most video games are not Christian, they are Helmite or Lathandar or what have you. if there even are any churches, you know how it is with those pagan game designers. hmm, has anyone thought about the D&D religions? do they match up with real-world ideologies? is Lathandar Jesus Christ?

on a related note, good heavens, what exactly is the deal with anti-D&D religious types? i mean, this kinda thing is absurd. i'm not motivated to read all of that (it's LONG) but yeesh. one of his points is that Christian priests, unlike D&D clerics, do not cast spells. really? they don't cast spells? dang, how do they heal people then?

Ilmater more closely resembles the Christian God than any other D&D deity. The church in the Dragon Age universe seems to share some backstory similarities. |

Well I guess maybe it would be good to post some more questions, put a bit of fun back into the place. 17. What was your favorite childhood toy? 18. What’s the most common tree type in your immediate neighborhood/area/vicinity? 19. (2 parter) How many languages do you speak? If you only speak one, what other language would you like to learn, if any? 20. Do you still keep in touch with a friend from your childhood? |

17. Hmm, early on it was My Little Pony, then then got replaced by Barbie and Sindy. 18. Not a clue, lol! I such with plants! I know the area has a shitload of Common Privet shurbs, though, which aren't cultivated at all some come July they explode with vile flowers which absolutely kill my poor nose and eyes for a good month. I seriously can't open windows for all of July, especially as I have 2 of the bugger in my garden D: 19. One fluently, but I do speak a lot of Welsh now thanks to my job, and I understand a lot more. I would have liked to have become fluent, but i'll be leaving Wales in a few months so I don't care any more ![]() 20. Yeah, I have a bunch on Facebook with whom I vaguely keep in touch, and I still regularly see my best friend from secondary school. We met when we were 11, we were bridesmaids for each other, and soon our babies will play together ^^ |

17. Mego's MICRONAUTS line (based on Micro-Man from Takara). The line was so good I was disappointed by the Star Wars toys when they came out. 18. Some form of Pine, I think, based on the sap on my car. Also a lot of Hickory trees. 19. Not anymore. I'd like to relearn French and Spanish. Did a few years in both but was never able to keep it up. In my dream world I'd speak French, Spanish, Russian, Greek, Arabic, Hindu, Japanese, Chinese, etc. 20. Define childhood. I just met up with two friends from High School (knew both since the 8th grade or so (we didn't have Junior High)). Most of the kids I was in Elementary school with had moved away from the neighborhoods before High School, so not many that I'd have been able to keep in touch with even then. 17. LEGO. Liked the medieval stuff. 18. Gum tree I guess. Probably. 19. One. Wouldn't mind learning French. Also, the language of love. ![]() Seriously though, just French. 20. Yeah a couple I guess. What counts as 'childhood'? |
