19) Probably a painting from Waterhouse; have to think a bit on which one (although I'm fond of one of his studies for his The Lady of Shallott [Looking at Lancelot] - a fact to which GM can attest!)

I think I still have a picture or two saved on a disc from our mp days and you shared some of your favorites with me. Are they worth a lot then?

17) If a movie producer with unlimited funds wanted to adapt something (book, comic, video game, board game, epic poem, ingredients to your favorite cereal, etc but no original ideas - has to be something already created and published) and asked you what they should adapt for a movie, what would you tell them?

18) If there was one thing you could change about yourself, what would it be?

19) If you could have any one thing - regardless of cost, size, etc - with the caveat that you could never sell it, what would you own?

20) Aliens give you nanotechnology that could bring one person back to life. Any attempt to discover how they work will render them useless. Assuming that you can find the body of your choice, who would you bring back? Or would you?

21) If you could be on any game show (regardless of whether it is still running or not), which game show would you go on?

22) An organization that researches paranormal activities has offered you a chance to lead a team investigating a supposedly haunted house. The only caveat is that you'll have to stay in the house during the week of research you are trying to complete. Do you go? If the reputation of the house includes a number of unsolved murders and frequent suicides - including those of the last researchers - would that change your answer?
17. The Discworld series. All of it.

18. Wouldn't mind fixing my ankles I guess.

19. A badass castle in Scotland.

20. Wouldn't use it.

21. Whichever one has the highest ratio of prize money to contestants.

22. Probably not, no.
Oh wow I almost went for the castle in Scotland too! Right on! I want Ardverikie!

And bloggy, if I owned Montana I'd kick out the crazies, starting with Jane Fonda.

23. If you could work any job you wanted to (without regard to salary - just the job itself) what would you do?

24. You meet yourself from the future, who says that they can tell you one thing about your future without creating a paradox but its up to you whether you want to hear or not. Do you find out what they have to say?

25. You have an opportunity to make good money working a job that would require you to spend a year at a research station in the south pole. Your immediate family (significant other, children/wards/etc) can come along. Would you do it?

26. Assuming that you had no attachments (ie significant others, children, etc), you meet up with an entity that has no physical presence but is mentally/spiritually exactly the kind of person you'd look for in a significant other. Would you pursue a relationship with this individual?

27. You find yourself falling from a great height; an imp freezes time and appears, offering to switch your place with that of your best friend at that very moment. While the fall could kill you, it could also just leave you injured and if you're really lucky you could walk away unscathed; additionally you have no idea what is currently happening to your best friend at that moment - it could be a far worse fate, it could better, or it could be incredibly awkward moment for you to appear in. Would you switch?

23. Writer - whether famous or not

24. Yes! I'd be too curious not to.

25. Yes; I think it'd be fun to do at least once (with proper training).

26. Don't think so; not to be shallow but I think it'd never actually work out in the end.

27. Nope; couldn't do something like that to another person.

23) Geologist or Astronomer, something where i could study the world around us.

24) why not, it's at least a good indicator that i have a future.

25) hmm, in some ways i hate the idea of being out in the middle of freaking nowhere like that... but on the other hand isolation is pretty much ok with me, i've given some serious thought to moving somewhere remote like that already. and best of all there are no freaking bats in Antarctica. so yeah i would go.

26) yes.

27) hrm. i think it is pretty unlikely i would survive a fall from a 'great height'. i would have to assume i was going to die. i also can't imagine a worse fate, so that wouldn't stop me from switching. nor would the possibility of an awkward moment, i'm not bothered by such things and it would be better than dying in any case. however, i have 2 best friends and i could not choose between them nor could i send them to an almost certain death. so i would resume my plummet. "One express elevator to Hell, going down!"

23. School Chaplain or youth leader or something like that. (Writer would be awesome as well, though.)

24. From the point of view of me now who is not faced with that immediate temptation, no. Not entirely sure how I'd act if actually faced with the situation, but I'm gonna claim I'd say no anyway.

25. No. I don't like isolation.

26. I... what? This one is weird. But no, I don't think I would. (By relationship you do mean romantic relationship, right?) Also a non-physical entity couldn't possibly be, spiritually, what I'm looking for in a significant other. The two are mutually exclusive in this case.

27. I've had a good innings, as they say. (So, no. I'd take the plummet.)

hmm... i would assume your most significant spiritual relationship is with God, who is generally taken to be a non-physical entity. so i am puzzled.

Hence the 'romantic relationship' and 'significant other' caveats.

25. Absolutely NOT!!! I'd hate it.

26. Hmmm... perhaps. Might become much more enlightened in the spiritual world.

a) the Challenger disaster. i was sitting in Geometry class not doing much of anything when some kid heard it on the radio (since we weren't supposed to have radios our class was prolly one of the first to hear it). after that, the school started wheeling TV carts into the classrooms and that was all we did the rest of the day. and then of course it was shown over and over again on the news for days. i remember what a crushing feeling it was, not just the loss of life but the tremendous blow it represented to the space program that symbolized American pride and ingenuity. one of my teachers wrote a poem about it that i still have a copy of.

b} i used to have a pretty bad fear of heights. i couldn't look off the roof of a 3 story building or even walk up to the railing on level 3 of a mall. i'd stick to the storefronts all the way around. it's not as bad now, but from time to time it still bothers me. and i dunno if it's a phobia exactly but i will not go on an airplane under any circumstances; same goes for a boat that goes into water deeper than i am tall.

c) in my lifetime i doubt it. but i think eventually we will if we can avoid destroying ourselves. it just seems so unlikely that we are all alone in existence.

d) chocolate chip, baby! :)
