alright, i'm throwing in some questions of my own, and in Dr Who tradition i'm rebooting the numbers. :)

1) what are deal breakers for you in relationships? ie the traits or behaviors you simply cannot tolerate in your SO.

2) would you agree to leave your home country and never return for $1 million? why or why not?

3) ladies, who is your girl crush? gents, who is your guy crush? LGBT peeps can flop that around if you like to include a gender you would not normally be romantically involved with. heh.

4) what would you like god to say to you when you get to heaven?

5) there's a terrible car accident and you must choose: would you save the life of your best friend or 5 total strangers?
Spoiler: click to toggle

1. This is probably gonna be a unique (for this audience anyway) answer to this question, but I absolutely will not date a non-Christian. To clarify: I don't just mean that I'm after someone who ticks that box on their census, I mean someone who is committed to a lifestyle of obedience to Christ.

2. Probably not. I like it here. I don't ever want to be in a position where I'm placing that much importance on money that I'm sacrificing other things for it (like friends.)

3. Bowie.

Also Nathan Fillion.

And Adam Baldwin.

4. 'Well done, good and faithful servant.'

5. That's a terrible choice. I'd like to be able to say that I'd go the 5 strangers, but I probably would not.

In answer to the spoiler... maybe. I dunno.

1. Hmmm....don't know really, prior to my beloved, I only had one other relationship so I don't really know what would irk me enough to end thinks, other than cheating or violence.

2. Tempting, but probably no, $1million wouldn't be enough to compensate for never being able to visit the places I love again, and never be able to see relatives unable to travel to us.

3. Angelina 10 years ago, she's too skinny now. Not sure other than that, haven't had a girl crush for a while.

4. BAZINGA! I exist! Fooled you!

5. Probably my friend, although if it meant 500 strangers I like to think I would do the morally right thing and save all those people, as i'd probably be unable to forgive myself f I knew I'd had the power to save 500 lives, but not done anything.

1) for me, one of the biggest things is smoking. i can't stand cigarette smoke. if you smoke, not only will i not date you, but you won't be allowed in my apartment, my car, or any other place that i am.

2) i would. i'm not very patriotic, i don't really think this country is much better than most (than some yes, but there are many that are as good or better), and $1 million would be more than enough to relocate any family who wanted to stay near me or to have anyone visit me as often as they like. plus i could solve alot of problems in my life with that much money. i'd be happier, healthier, and alot more secure, with hardly any downsides.

3) i honestly don't have a guy crush. i've never felt any kind of attraction for men, or even looked at a guy and thought he was handsome. sometimes people don't believe that but it's true. i'm just very firmly fixed at the staight end of the spectrum.

4) "It's about time my replacement showed up"

5) i think my instinct would be to save my friend. but if there was time to think about it and the number of strangers was more than a few, i would most likely choose them instead.

1) I dont have any one specific dealbreaker. Life and relationships are fluid and you have to be able to roll with the punches and find common ground or it will never last. That said, I suppose if she were a liar or a cheat she would earn a quick trip to the curb.

2) Hell yeah! Gimmie the million and Ill relocate to somewhere just like the US. Maybe Australia, sounds like a fun joint. Except for those giant spiders...

3) Hmm, tough one. There are lots of good looking guys from old school like Robert Redford to current day like Ryan Renolds but I dont have a crush on any of them. Is the question "who would you go gay for"? If so, nobody.

4) If I get to heaven? "You really are a forgiving god." Lol.

5) Without a doubt, my best friend.

1. Hmmm... darn there's a lot of things. I wouldn't be with another alcoholic for sure. Did that and it was hell. Or a druggie. Nor would I date a chain smoker, but cigarette smoking doesn't really bug me that much as long as it is not in my house (all the smokers we know respect that in Ace and I and never smoke in our house). I wouldn't date any political fanatic either. Nor any narrow minded bigot or hypocritical liar.

2. Nope. I love my country and my family and friends way too much to give a fig about the money. I rather like the idea of making our own way in life.

3. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by this question. I have NO sexual attraction for my own sex. But there are women who I think are beautiful or that I admire.

4. "We will now meditate before our next adventure"

5. I'd save my friend so that he/she could help me save the others. :P

1) what are deal breakers for you in relationships? ie the traits or behaviors you simply cannot tolerate in your SO.

Drug addiction (including alcohol and tobacco). Abusiveness.

2) would you agree to leave your home country and never return for $1 million? why or why not?

Home is where you hang your hat, so if I felt that the million could prevent me from having to find a job in said other country, sure.

Based on this economy, it wouldn't.

3) ladies, who is your girl crush? gents, who is your guy crush? LGBT peeps can flop that around if you like to include a gender you would not normally be romantically involved with. heh.

Since bloggy avoided answering his own question, I will too. ;)

4) what would you like god to say to you when you get to heaven?

As long as it involves a connotation that I'm going through the pearly gates, does it matter? :P

5) there's a terrible car accident and you must choose: would you save the life of your best friend or 5 total strangers?

To be honest, I don't think - when you're in a radical situation like that - you'd ever really know about the choice you're making until its done. Odds are, I think, you'd be trying to save the person or people closest to you which would probably include your friend.

Now if you're going in the abstract - say a supervillain makes the offer and he has your friend in some remote location suspended over a vat of pirahna and a bomb set to go off at the local football stadium packed with a sell-out crowd...

...well in that case you hope when you woke up that morning, you were Bruce Wayne.

I was initially agreeing the Bloggy had dodged the question but then I remembered he did answer:

Yeah, I thought it was one of those fake questions, and had the imaginary 'disclaimer' in front of mine of 'NOW I'M TOTALLY NOT GAY, NOT AT ALL NO WAY, BUT IF SOMEONE HAD A GUN TO MY HEAD OR A HYPNO-RAY OR WHATEVER AND I HAD TO CHOOSE AND IT WAS VERY COLD AND I WAS DRUNK AND AND AND..."

it wasn't a fake question and i did answer. i asked all the questions more out of general interest/discussion than for the purpose of providing my own answers, but what i said was honest and there was no intent of making a 'trick' question.

and i don't think that having a same sex crush necessarily makes someone gay or bisexual either. acting on it, maybe yeah. but just thinking about it, nah. it's just something i haven't experienced.

re Bruce Wayne: "I had to save them both. You see, I'm both Bruce Wayne and Batman. Not because I have to be, now... because I choose to be. ..."
