Embrace what you like. No reason to feel guilty over it, if you like it and it doesn't hurt others (or if it does, they consent to it... :yikes: )

Juggling shirts is the same basic principle as juggling balls; they're a little less predictable, but since they're bigger there's potentially more to grab onto.

given that most places outlaw assisted suicide, why are people allowed to buy or sell cigarettes?

Don't be so ridiculous. Given that, why sell alcohol, or deep fried foods, or allow doctors to prescribe 99.9% of the meds they put their patients on?

well alcohol goes in with that as well, it is clearly toxic and causes both short and long term deaths. i just think if we allow legal sales of deadly products, what's the big deal about letting people kill themselves by some other method if they want to?

Oh okay, I guess I misunderstood. Well it is rather silly anyway, interfering in a persons choice. If someone truly wants to kill his or herself, I think they'll succeed, with or without assistance. Personally, I don't think I could assist in someone dying unless it was truly for the best, like someone suffering terrible agony and that person will die a slow painful death otherwise. I guess that would be a hard decision.

Of course there's also the difference that while there may be health risks to alcoholic beverages or fatty foods, they also have health benefits (ie, they can still provide nourishment and quench thirst, plus apparently there's all this other weirdness about wine being good for you or whatever) whereas cigarettes have no apparent purpose beyond getting people addicted and killing them.

Well as to that, while I agree that cigarettes have no health benefit, lol, it is still interfering in a person's choice. Start taking away choices and suddenly the door opens to all kinds of other restrictions. And deep fried foods really don't have much of a health benefit, not when it becomes as much an addiction as some cigarette smokers. Nor does drinking alcohol when it is done in a similar manner. It is all about moderation then. My grandma, who is 98 this year, smoked well into her 60's, but only 4 cigarettes a day. She is incredibly healthy for one her age... and she also indulges in a daily highball and loves a good expensive wine. She's a doll. But all is done in moderation. I had to bring her in because we are all so proud of her.
