That's why I stopped doing lengthy in-depth reviews. Well that and they never seemed to generate discussion. Much easy to complain about Up in a few sentences and be pillared across the internet. |

rrrrrrrrrrr.... if there was a virtual swimming pool here i would throw you into it. i just got some things called smoked bratwurst and they are pretty boring taste like a hot dog. but awhile ago i had some called Stadium Brats they were better tasted more like what i am used to bratwurst tasting like. so what does Polish Sausage taste like how does it compare to these other things? and ahem you have been warned.

LOL!! Okay though, have you tried the Johnsonville brats? We get those from time to time, usually the spicy Italian. Cook 'em on the grill and they're pretty good. Polish sausage has an entirely different taste. Too greasy for my likes, but Ace loves them. The ones I've bought come in a long folded form. I usually cut them up in smaller pieces (about 2 or 3 inches in length, then cut lengthwise), hard fry them then add them to a casserole or stew. Those Aidells brats are expensive, but delicious. |

The difference is in how big it is and what spices it uses; Kielbasa (the most common of the Polish Sausages in the US) is a U-shaped pork and veal sausage with marjoram and garlic. Bratwurst can have veal, pork or beef and be spiced with things like salt, pepper, nutmeg, lemon zest, marjoram, caraway seed, pepper and garlic. |

man this is suckage. today i talked to 2 different divisions of the local Department of Health, Animal Control, the Tennant Union, and the Village of Savoy building inspector. the Illinois State Department of Health is going to issue a notice to my landlord that the bats represent a code violation and must be removed. and there is a possibility that the building inspector could condemn the building. fun stuff.

yep. i don't really want to live here anymore anyway, but moving is a huge hassle and costs money i don't have right now. just finding a decent place that allows cats can be tricky. either way it sucks. i don't really want to be forced out, but i also cannot deal with having bats in my building or apartment anymore. ugh. |

this has been a really weird week. besides all the business with bats and such, i go to get a haircut tonight and while i am sitting there waiting my turn, i look up to see the wickedly hot girl who works there straddling a female customer. looked liked she was giving her a lap dance. while wearing a short skirt no less. my life is weird. |

well some bat removal people came out and did some work on the building caulking up cracks and openings etc and putting one-way doors on the places where they figured bats were coming in and out. that's how you get rid of bats, you put up little devices that allow them to leave but not get back in. cuz it's impractical and often illegal to trap and/or kill them all, and you can't just seal it up or you end up with an atticfull of dead bats. anyway hopefully this will work. phew. |

made two weird discoveries this morning. apparently alot of people are playing something called 'the lying down game' where they do just that, lie face down in public places and take pictures of the event. huh. and in trying to view some images of this, i found that Google has 'updated' their image search making it extremely slow to load and essentially unusable. looks like i'll be looking else where for pictures from now on. anyone know a good image search engine? |
