does blog really mean babble? that actually makes sense based on where i got the name, but i always just thought blog came from web + log, weblog.

i'm not saying that women have mind control abilities, exactly, but they do have some kind of effect on men... but it would be easier to explain this if you saw the movie at least once. you did say you liked Heroes and The Matrix, right? ;)

Safeway, heh, there was one in Texas, only one i have seen actually, and my memory of Safeway will always be from there, walking up to the store one Texas summer night and finding thousands upon thousands of crickets (the big fat ones) all over the ceiling and walls of the entryway. you couldn't get into the store without passing through a swarm of crickets. i think there were prolly at least a million crickets there.

I might watch the show if ever it conveniently comes my way. I like Heroes better than the Matrix, still waiting for season 4 to come out on Netflix.

You don't have a Safeway in Illinois? What is it there? Kroger or IGA? There's a Safeway in every town here in WA. But thankfully no plague of crickets. I like crickets, but I wouldn't want that many. Eebie-jeebie time.

what's the deal with printers? went to look for a new one yesterday and all the stores seem to have is these all-in-one printer-copier-scanner things. don't they make just plain printers anymore? and are they all made in China?

I got two printers at work in the last couple of years which were just printers, no fancy multiple-function thingamabobs.

Wal-Mart had a couple cheapo printer only deals. maybe i'll grab one of those. i don't like buying electronics at Wal-Mart but they have what i want and the price is low.

i went to get a haircut couple days ago and told the (hot) girl i wanted a Mohawk. she said no, she would not give me a Mohawk. apparently she didn't think it was an appropriate style for me. how rude! :P

Clearly they're cutting for their ego, not yours.*

*If I recall correctly, this is a play on a slogan for SUPERCUTS from a few years ago.

I gave a guy a Mohawk once. By accident. I forgot to put the correct attachment on the clippers over the surgical blades. He wasn't very happy.

Well, he just wanted a buzz, with a little extra on top. I've always cut hair for guys. And I've never forgotten to put on the proper attachments until that day. Too distracted. The guys were cracking jokes and had me laughing... I turned on the clippers, took a swipe and Wa-la! A long streak of skin gleamed under the clippers path from the left back of his neck up to the left side of the crown. LOL... Soooooo, I finished the job making him into a skin head. At first we left some on top, but decided it looked way too goofy, so we took it all off. He got over it, and even considered having it done again when his girlfriend liked the look.

wow, just saw some young chick on Letterman singing the Stones' "Paint it Black" (which happens to be my favorite Stones song) and she was great. nice moment. fortunately, i am retired from dating so i don't need to go see her or anything. ;)

yay i've finished archiving the 30 movie reviews i've posted since the inception of this board. i really regret losing some of the stuff i wrote on the old Lair, which is why i'm now saving stuff to hard drive and eventually prolly a flash drive as well.

anyway, woo!. B)
