I thought it was entertaining, but I kinda felt like the end tried a bit too hard to be "twisty" and didn't really make it. I think the story would have worked generally better had it just kept to a straight forward narrative.

Still it was fun so I can't complain.

It looks fun, pondering whether it's worth a cinema trip (considering it costs the Earth), thinking we might depending on what else is out. Might go and see Gamer this week, anyone see that?

The basic set up for Pandorum is that two crew members wake up from deep sleep on a long voyage colonization ship only to find the ship empty and something there in the ship with them.

Hmm, another spooky space movie. I still get the creeps watching Aliens.

In basic setup, yeah you could say its aliens-ish.

In practice...not so much. What's happened with the spaceship is fairly different from the distress call that wakes up the Nostromo crew in Alien.

I enjoyed it also but wouldn't say it was up there with my favourites.
One thing it did do for me though was to prove that if they put their minds to it, they could do a good DOOM film!
Also it made me wish they would make a Dead Space film :)

There is supposed to be a Dead Space film in the works. When I first saw the trailer for Pandorum in theatre I swore it was Dead Space.
