My Slim PS2 started making clicking noises a few months ago... and it would fix itself a day later. Then it happened <OVER NINETHOUSAND!> more times, I cleaned the laser and it fixed itself again. This time, it won't work when I use tissue, or a glasses cleaning cloth, or the cloth that came with my PSP. NOW WHAT?! Now I can't play Redemption OR the upcoming ToD Remake: Director's Cut! (Indeed, it's modded with Magic Keys. Model SCPH-750001) |

I'm sure replacing the laser unit would work, too. Everything else but the laser is fine. EDIT: Oh, and I can load the CD Swap Magic. So it's definitely not dead. Now I'm sure it's zee lazur. |
