The UGL is planning on holding a tourney soon. I see that Ogbot is having one the week for Thanksgiving. He has contacted me about possibly hosting it on the U. My question is would people be interested in a possible promoter smashfest the weekend before? I 'm not sure how that falls on dUb/Drews bi-weekly smashfest schedule, but I guess we'll find out. Worst comes to worst we could host a smashfest in one of the rooms that we usually hold tourneys in. There wouldn't be any money involved, as the money is done under-the-table and so for money events we try not to attract too much attention. So for this kind of event would mainly to be to raise awareness of a MN smash community and try to draw attendance. So we could mention to all that may be interested that there's a money event the following week. |
