You should have a better plan after you fthrow/bthrow/dthrow the fox and he does or doesn't tech. Moreso when he doesn't tech. Maybe run up to him, shield, and if he does awake-attack, then shield grab. Or just dashdance and see where he rolls. Just try and have more of a plan after your first plan is a success. Keep following up your moves as much as possible within the plausible.

Impressive. Some things I noticed:

You seemed a little afraid of attacking from the edge. You tried doing so once in the third video (b-air), and it might have worked had you grabbed the edge again (try doing a f-b towards the ledge immediately after a b-air and you should grab the ledge if you're fast enough). You can also do ledge-hop d-air as an edge-guard too. The trick to edge-guarding from the ledge is to try to get the invincibility frames right as Marth/whoever is preparing for their final approach to the stage: this way, when you attack, not only will you have your hitbox between you and your opponent, but also some invincibility to fall back on should you mis-time your attack as well (very useful against the mario's).

You also seemed to abuse sh f-air->u-air a bit too much. I'll admit, I probably don't appreciate all the advantages of it, but there were a few times when a fastfall->u-tilt or just wait to see what he does would have been better.

Also, MoMD brings up a good point with tech-chasing the fast-fallers. I find that b/d/f-throw to tech chase is an okay way to get some extra damage when your combos aren't working anymore, and you can't get a quick kill with u-tilt. It's also frustrating to your opponent. Try to remember to knee fox a few times before going for the throw.

I'm not going to critique marth because idk how to play marth. so i'll critique fox.

Grab more, uthrow more, uair more. uthrow -uair is fox's bread and butter in this matchup, and i think i saw it once. if you land a shine, it should result in a grab, and in turn an uair. this will come once you start waveshining better and grabbing instead of shffling after a waveshine. (unless you can shffl a dair fast enouhg to infinite)

i changed my mind i have a critique for your marth flux... STOP TRYING TO FUCKING DAIR PEOPLE FOR EDGEGAURD. it's flashy, yes. but it's not NEARLY as realiable as a dtilt, fsmash, or EDGEHOG. FFS, i've told you this 4000 times but you never seem to listen.

...other than that your double airs look good.

Is d-air edge-guard really so terrible? I'll have to watch the vids again to see how it's utilized (ledge-hop, jump out -> d-air). The latter, I'll admit, is too unrelilable (rather obvious, easily DI'd/teched). Ledg-hop is also techable, but it has the advantage of allowing you a stable sniping position in relation to a recovering opponent, you can l-cancel the d-air (so even if you miss, your opponent won't be too likely to capitalize on it), you can get invincibility frames, and you can always go for the b-air.

At higher percents, the possibility of sending your opponent a bit upwards makes it too risky, but I'd argue it's the best edge-guard early on, especially against characters with really short vertical recovery.

look at :35 of match 2. He could have easily had a stock if he'd just crouched and dtilted as soon as gbunny up+b'd.

green bunny does it too, he always tries to finish the last stock off with a spike. you can tell he wants in on flux's last life that game.

I think Aaron was influencing us in that aspect seeing as how he gets it whenever he wants, and it works really good. As opposed to a noob trying it, looks rather dumb. Not a bad skill to be able to pull out though so might as well practice it in friendlies, although I was trying it at the most stupid times as possible...

I'd agree. Flux did the "jump out," type of spike, rather than the moderately more controlled "ledge-hop" variety. Plus, after a certain percent, (probably somewhere around GB was knocked off the stage) I'd stop going for the spike altogether since other, less risky and more reliable moves can accomplish the same thing (notably d-tilt).

Agreed, pretty much anything could substitute it. I shall stop doing that from now on unless its connecting from a combo, not that stupid way of doing it that i have been lol.
