This is mainly directed at aaron...or anyone with a legitimate strategy for this. I'm basically wondering what the best way of going about a peach floating about your lasers would be. So...basically I shoot a laser, they shield, then jump above them between the 1st and 2nd. Then she just approaches me and either does fair or dair or nair or w/e. I just don't know how to handle it...if I SHFFL an uair, her dair takes priority. Should I be using a running full jump nair or dair right into her or what? Or should I just try and get her before she can float...or just run away when she's floating in front/above me. (I figured out this is why i'm losing to SDM, watch those videos I have on youtube to get a better understanding of it) |

umm probably would be better to come down with a Dair. You could just wait for her to land and then strike. Or when peach tries to attack thinking your gonna jump wave dash back and do a forward smash. You wanna be all over the peach the whole time so it cant float over your lasers. |

The only problem is if I wait, she will do a little float cancelled fair/dair or whatever on my shield, and that will eventually lead to me getting damage. |

wait it out and wait for the peach to make a mistake and mess up her spacing on a float cancel. If she even gets hit with one laser out of a float cancel shes guaranteed to take a dair and get comboed. |

What do you mean "wait it out?" If I sit there shielding, she'll float cancel an aerial on my shield and eventually deal me some damage. Even if she does mess up her spacing, it's risky to even wait it out to get hit. I'd rather avoid shielding at all costs. Or do you mean simply run away? |

Sorry, I should have elaborated. I meant that you should reverse shl, wavedash back, just basically try to confuse the peach. Eventually the Peach will probably feel the need to attack and that's when you can Dair her or hit her with a laser to gain advantage. My fault for being kind of vague. BTW I've learned when I play a Peach, the shield is a last resort, so no I didn't mean to sit in a shield. |
