- Military Intervention After months of controversy, push has finally come to shove on Verbena where rioters were quelled, some arrested, by Allied Planets Fleet Command marines on Tuesday. This show of force, which ended in a bloody riot outside Verbena's main space port, follows weeks of peaceful protests against the current military blockade of the planet.

- Staying Vigilant A bank heist on Ariel gone wrong came to an abrupt end this week when a masked citizen incapacitated four armed fugitives as they tried to make their escape. Eye witness reports are still being clarified, though many attribute this mysterious individual to saving their lives - a modern day super hero.

- Out of Cash Word has it that the popular space port and skyplex, the Baroness, was abruptly closed earlier this week when 'technical difficulties' occurred on board. While the Baroness has a long history of local trouble, this outage was unexpected by all involved and required a complete evacuation. The shut down, which occurred for only ten hours, is reported to have lost the current owners over fifty thousand Credits!

- Cooked Books Ryan Anderson, a Junior Finance Officer of Phoenix Corporation, was taken into custody this week after being found guilty of funneling illegal finances through the organisation over the last few months. Authorities were quick to act when management caught onto this act, and assure the public justice will be served. Anderson has no made comment. Phoenix Corp continues to stand tall as the number one financier of the Verbena cleanup operation, providing much needed funds to clean up crews and those who have suffered during The Fall.

- People Aren't Cargo Families celebrated this week as they came face to face with their loved ones once again as a special taskforce operation centered on Persephone busted over a dozen slaver organisations and cargo ships. "The war against slavery is coming to an end", a spokesperson of the Persephone City PD said, "...as we shut down more and more of these illegal operations everyday."
